The more you have to lose the less difference 40 lbs will make. The next 40 will be much different and when you get to vanity lbs every 5 lbs makes a huge difference.

JohnP reminded me of that paper towel analogy I've read here a few times, when you start taking a sheet off the roll it doesn't make a big difference but it really changes as the roll gets smaller....which is exactly what he said

You've done great so far, show yourself some love and patience, I didn't realize how much fat was on my back, you don't really see it when you look in the mirror, I see it now, but you know your losing because your tops are smaller, your bra is probably more comfortable.

There were days when I was in heavy weight loss mode that I was mad at myself, too, maybe more so because I'm a regainer, a few times, but you're doing something about it now and it will benefit you as you get older.
