Default Stuck in the 170's!

LoL! I have been stuck bouncing between 174 and 177 for a couple of months now! The strange thing is, there are changes in my body even though there is no real decrease in weight! I was hoping to be at "goal" weight by October (135 pounds) but of course THAT is not happening!

LoL! I have come to realize that despite my best intentions and my hard work the weight will come off as it wants, and not a moment sooner. I take heart in the fact that even though the scale isn't showing the decline I wanted, I am feeling my clothes fit better and noticed yesterday that I even have a visible waist (yay!) when naked. I don't have any form fitting clothes to test if it's noticeable clothed.

Anywho...anyone else notice a time their weight loss didn't reflect their bodily changes? I shake up work outs so it isn't that I'm just doing the same thing over and over. Sometimes I walk, sometimes, run and sometimes I dance. I even went canoeing over the weekend and rowed up current for an hour!!!

I'm just really wanting to see the 160's!!!

Start taking measurements. Sometimes you will see inches lost even when scale is not budging.

I measure every 2 weeks and there is change. I'm just surprised my measurements are going down but the scale hasn't followed suit!

I've been stuck in the 180's for 6 months. My WW leader told me to watch my sodium and carbs, I've lost 5 lbs over the past 2 weeks by watching that, staying in my points and moving more than exercise for a hour a day
for example-I go to the gym for 40-50 in the morning or zumba, 2-3 walk in the afternoon and something active at night, I do this at least 3x a week (with one activity the other days) and noticed a difference
the other thing I've been doing is mixing up my food

Thanks! I actually get a good amount of exercise/physical activity in and measure my portions and calories, so I'm good there. However I WAS told to increase my sodium by the dr to see if it would help me manage my blacking out episodes. So far it hasn't helped my blacking out.

And that may be part of the reason I'm fluctuating so much within a few pounds...retaining more water from the increased salt!!!!

You don't lose pounds and inches at the same time. It's one or the other.
