Have fun tonight, Radiojane!

Ugh, I am at a stand-still with my weight. I hate this plateau crap, it makes me feel like giving up

Zima, don't give up. I did that a few months ago, and it really cost me. Can't fit into my clothes now. Those darn plateaus are demotivating, but press on.

RadioJane, congrats on the weight loss!

Diana, the weight will come off. I know what you mean about certain foods and different restaurants, though. Hang in there. We're all rooting for you!

Larry, I'm sorry about your sister. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Alfieshoney, sorry about your leg. Hope it heals soon!

Happy Friday to everyone!

I'm so thankful last night's class is over. Everything turned out well. So thank you, everyone, for your good wishes! I can now relax and enjoy my weekend. Going out to dinner tonight, so I hope I don't retain any extra water. Have a great weekend, everyone!!

Menu:
Breakfast: coconut water, egg, bread, peach
Lunch: soy patty, peach, almonds
Dinner: chicken broccoli Chinese food.
Exercise: 40 minutes

holy creepy trip to the store tonight!! went with teenager tonight to get some things I need for the morning....I had stopped my cart at the end corner of an aisle and saw dark-dressed guy running down the aisle, thought it was teenager..it was a darkly-bearded guy in his 30s, dressed in black, who nearly ran over my cart, then stopped stock-still at the end of my cart and STARED AT ME intently....I realized he wasn't looking AT me but just past me at 3 teenagers....I moved my cart around him and he didn't seem to see me and never spoke to me...I watched him hide, follow and stare at these teenagers and then take his cell phone out...this is the third time I've seen this fellow doing this in the store and, before, had thought he was playing with a child...WEIRD!!!! I reported it to store security...it was like sex offender creepy bizarre...and when he took out his cell phone and hid was when I realized he wasn't just goofing around with someone.....*shudder*

diana I hope you feel better soon!

alaskan that is TOTALLY creepy!

Here, I've been sick. Weight was 153 this AM. Not great, but not bad. I've been doing some fall clothes shopping, and was discouraged to find that pants don't seem to be cut right for me. Nothing fit. I tried 5 different stores: LOFT, Talbots, Coldwater Creek, Christopher & Banks, NY&co. I'm not sure where to go from here. I'm thinking about losing 10 more pounds to see if that helps...

Thanks Diana. The picnic went very well. I brought what I thought was too much food and it all got eaten. And there was wine from a brown paper bag as well! At boxing, there is a punchbag, a speedball annd various other pieces of equipment to punch. The best bit though is the instructor who uses mitts that you have to punch. There is no kicking. Just punching. I doubt I could kick given that my legs are almost permanently sore from running.

Anyway down 1lb today.

Breakfast: 2 pieces of toasted low calorie bread with raw mushrooms and mayo lite. A few olives. 1 anchovie. 1 coffee, milk no sugar.

Lunch: Salad with pan-seared scallops, 5 anchovies, salted mackeral, pickled herring, pickled garlic, olive hummus, tsatsiki, corn, kidney beans, lettuce, mushrooms, red onion, blueberries, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, pickled onions.

Dinner: Will drink beer (Green Flash Imperial IPA).

Exercise: Ran 9 miles this morning. My longest ever.

Im just getting things done around here today....paid bills, got the kids off to their activities, put a homemade stew in the crockpot and went to the gym....its pouring rain and very windy here but I still have to go out and get some stuff done like grocery shopping....

I upped the weights at the gym on each weight machine and took it back to only 3 sets of 10 reps each and it is HARD....im sore and the scale bounced up again *sigh* BUT I can tell a big difference in my body....I feel smaller, I look smaller, my clothes look like they did when the scale said 180-182 although it's reading 191-194....so i'm happy with that and I know the scale is reflecting DOMS and water and I really have no idea of my "true weight" at the moment

Hey everyone.

I've been keeping up with Jillian and jogging. I need to get buff again. I'm thin but not happy because I'm a jiggly thin. Can't have that, I want to be bullet proof. Not sure I will ever be 100% happy with my body but I will keep trying as I fight age as well. :/ I like switching it up, I was getting very bored.

Today I jogged about 40 minutes. TOM is due so no scale this week.

Larry, I have no words only sympathy.

Radio, congrats on finally breaking your plateau.

Not much else to report which is a good thing, the less drama in my life the better.
