You'll find that for some women, after losing some weight, your body can settle into a pattern surrounding ovulation times. I know I am like this, and I think BerryBlondeBoys is another, where we will lost nothing for two weeks despite being on plan, and then bam, it comes off during the other two weeks.

It is frustrating I know to start moving into that pattern where after losing constantly every week. If you're still eating at a deficit, I'd give it a little more time. If you see NOTHING lost the entire month, you might want to consider switching up a bit.

As for days off, I find that in the beginning they helped, but I really have to cut down on them now in order to continue to lose - maybe 1 or 2 a month. Even then, I don't go over 2000 calories.

Thanks for the helpful replies losermom and vex -- I did have one day where I ate intentionally over (about 500 calories over maintenance). Then, yesterday I fasted for about 20 hours and ate about 1200 calories (I practice intermittent fasting). That's about 500 calories less than I typically average, as I've been losing consistently at about 1700 calories a day (with light/moderate exercise).

I weighed myself today and still exactly the same LOL. I have tried to make a pact with myself to NOT WEIGH IN until St. Patrick's Day but it's not easy because I find weighing helps me stay accountable. I tend to obsess though, so I'm making it a goal to stay completely on plan, averaging 1600 a day (so, 100 fewer than typical), and pray the scale has gone DOWN by St. Patricks Day.

I guess I'll just be thankful it hasn't gone up!!

As far as the ovulation thing, ya' know there might be something to it. Our bodies can be complicated sometimes

I'm just going to stick with it and re-evaluate on St. Paddy's Day. Another solid week of being 100% on plan *should* get the scale moving. I pray!

I had a 3 month long period last summer where I did not loose anything. I tried calories up, down, changed up exercise, increased exercise, etc. What got me out of it in the end was lowering carbs.

I am one of those Women who only loses right after my cycle starts. I usually see one maybe two small wooshes a month. I average about three pounds loss per month and I cycle calories. One high-ish day at about 1800 per week and the rest 1200-1500. I average 1500. I plan to keep these numbers as I am almost to goal.

You have a plan. You can always adjust it according to your needs. Be patient and see how it goes long term. Good luck!

I think sometimes our bodies just need a little time to catch up to what we're doing.

Since I've been tracking, I see where I have 12-13 days a month where I lose no weight at all. The scale is 100% stagnate.

It is the week before and the week of TOM. Then I get this 'amazing woosh week' where I lose 5 or so lbs, but man I always sweat it up until that point. LOL

I will say that this month I broke that cycle, but it was b/c I caught a horrendous 24 hr bug that made me drop 3 lbs in a day. I haven't gained it back, so I'm hoping it sticks around BUT man, I wouldn't volunteer to lose weight like that again. It's been 2 days since, and I still have barely eaten solid food.
