Why do we find it so difficult?

    Perhaps you and Lin should consider adopting some kind of rule. One mentioned above about the next day is interesting - even just saying you can have it but you have to wait an hour is worth considering. The idea is once you tell yourself you can have it you can stop thinking about it.

    I intermittent fast and one thing I have learned is that hunger and cravings come in waves. Getting busy doing something (anything) and the hunger and cravings tend to diminish.
  • I find looking at food porn and then looking at people at goal weights with great bodies helps a lot.

    When i look at the food, i think, mmmh that looks yummy.
    Then i look at the great body and think i know what one i would rather have.
