Well...it is a 70 degree day beautiful day in the neighborhood! I got my 30 minute workout in earlier today and heading out for a walk shortly, as soon as I feed the kitties. I'm also planning on stir-fry chicken over brown rice for dinner.

Now look in all my embarrasment I forgot to talk to SYN

Syn: Hi, my name is Sandy and I've been hanging here for a couple months now and absolutely love all these ladies, ....OK, I do get confussed occasionally . But, none the less I love them and know they will forgive my confussion. I have heard of you in passsing. I asked for a good fruit salad recipe a while back and one of these kind ladies posted your Apple Salad Recipe, it said SYN's Apple Salad, and I made it and loved it, actually took it to a family function. So, though it may be a little late, Thanks for the recipe .

Now I am taking my butt outside and going for my well needed walk. Maybe I can shake the cobwebs loose and not get so confussed next time.

Hugs to you all,

My diet stinks, no call so no job and they are still dropping water from buckets. It looks better however, not as much smoke. We are suppose to get rain tomorrow sometime so that will be a great help.

I need sleep but wanted to pop in and let you know that fire wise I am okay. Bummed about the job and my diet.

Well, ladies, I really did it to myself this time....

I did my 30 minute workout, things went OK--and then I went to do my stretches to walk...and got this GIANT CRAMP (I thought) in my right leg! Turns out I pulled a calf muscle; nothing that alternating hot and cold won't cure.

But of all exercises....

Evening, ladies! It's been a busy couple of days here. This school board thing is just rolling whether I'm ready for it or not.

I have to tell you what I bought this morning. First of all, I went to WI (not Wisconsin) and I was up 1/2 pound, but I've not been in 3 weeks. I know, my fault. Anyway, about 6 weeks ago, I noticed that they were selling these cool pearl bracelets that have a silver charm on them that attaches with a lobster claw clasp. Anyway, the concept is that each pearl is a WW point and instead of having to 'journal' on paper, you keep track of your points on this bracelet. Well, I picked one up today to purchase (figuring I've got to try something and nothing else is keeping me on track) and my WW leader says, "oh, I think you'll really like that. It will be your 'anchor'. Wear it on the hand you eat with and it will be a constant reminder of what you should be doing." Well, long story short, (I know, too late) I did very well today. I went to lunch with #1 son and had a grilled chicken salad. I even had the server bring the cheese out in one of the little cups they serve butter in so that I could see how much I was eatting (and then only used a sprinkling of it ). I got in the car and moved my little charm over. Then for dinner I grilled some Pollock fillets on the 'George', with baked potatoes and veggies and dip. I really did well, and it feels sooooo good!!!!

I was a 'showgirl' this past Saturday and got to see Anger Management with Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson. It was one seriously messed up movie! Pretty funny!

Ok, I'm going to try to catch up:

Michelle: Glad to see you pop in, even though it was just to wish Baylee a happy birthday. At least it's good to know that you're out there....and reading. Stop in a bit longer the next time.

Aradia: Quick tip: If, once you get to the thread you go up to the top of your browser and under the 'file' column, you will find 'new' and then 'window' will appear. If you click on that, you will actually have two browser windows open with the same thing in them. Then in one of the windows hit 'post reply' and you'll get your little window to do replies in. Then you can toggle back and forth between the two windows: one will be on your reply spot and the other will be in the thread where you're trying to remember what someone wrote. I hope this makes sense to you because it will save you a whole bunch of time trying to take notes and then reply. Trust me, I started out doing the note taking thing until someone showed me how to do it this way and it saves a whole bunch of time.

Lucky: OMG! You must have talked some in chat Saturday about the fire issue, because I went back and back and began to think I was crazy because I didn't know what you were talking about at first. Sounds like you're just having an exciting couple of days. I sure that you are in the safe and clear zone by now. [[[hugs]]] * As far as the job goes, hold the phone! Maybe they just haven't made up their mind yet. We're still all rooting for you. Something will come up and if it's not this one, it will be something better.

Lori: I have a kitty too. His name is Max. He's going to be 9 years old in August. He's one fat cat, just like his mom (me!) * Love those inches coming off. Are you doing anything besides walking, or did I miss it when you told your secret?

Steph: Likewise, to you. Good to see you, even if it is just for a minute. Come back when you have more time.

Barb: Sounds like you had a great time in Atlantic City, or at least your hubby did! Wow! To come away from the casino with a little money in your pocket is a wonderful thing!!! I've found the same thing with the timeshare presentations. They promise 45 minutes and 3 hours later you're still listening to their drivell. But for two nights free, hey, what the heck.

2cute: Hope you have a safe trip to Missouri. I'm sure with the weather getting nicer by the day that the drive will get more enjoyable for you.

Baylee: Glad you had a nice birthday. A little shopping, a little company, what more could a girl ask for?

Deon: WOW! A rock concert? You go, girl!!!

Kat, Kat, Kat: Between you and the chatty neighbor and Tina and her 'chatty Cathy'. *shakes head* I don't know about you guys. But you're right, it sure does take up the time.

Sandy: You're becoming dependent on those e-mail announcements. I told you you're going to have to visit the old fashioned way, by just getting your butt in here periodically!

Syn: My goodness what a surprise it was to find you here! I'm so glad you dropped in. I sure wish you'd stick around and be more regular. There are alot of new girls since you've been AWOL and they're all delightful!

Ok, we have some missing 'chickies' today. Oh where, oh where have my little chickies gone? Oh where oh where can they be??

Come on out girls, before we have to send out the troops and they're pretty busy elsewhere right now!

I'm going to run. I feel like I'm taking over the nightowl spot for 2cute while she's gone. It's almost 1:30 AM my time, so I'm getting very sleepy. I'll have to catch up with you again later. Love to all.

God Bless America!

Oh how I love the little things that let you know your losing weight besides the scales. Like putting on a pair of 4X pants that were once tight and are now falling off me. And my wedding ring is getting lose again. And being able to sit and close my legs because there isn't all that fat holding them apart. And being able to put my shoes on and breathe at the same time.

I apologize if the visual has disturbed anyone, but I am so excited about this, I just had to share.

I am just feeling so good these days. I really hope it lasts. I worry that the day will come and I fall. I so badly don't want that to happen. I keep looking at my picture on the fridge, well not me (sara). And it truly shows me how I want to be. I want to be thin. I am going to get a before picture of myself now, a reminder.

Well I must go now, headed for bed. Night all!!

Hey there chickie poohs,
This thread sure is funny , one day it moves so fast you barely have time to catch up and the next it's at a snails pace. Come on out and play everyone!!! Tina, Where are you?
I went for my walk yesterday, ended up doing 1 1/2 miles, first time for me. I was proud of myself. Think I am gonna kick this cold thing before it goes to far, I loaded my supper with garlic last night and been drinking OJ with gingerale. I have to mix the 2 because if I don't the acid in the OJ really bothers me.
It is suppossed to be in the 70's here today, first time this year, then back to cold again tomorrow, you just gotta love living in Maine, the weather can never make up its mind.
Today is my physical, will let you all know about it later. I'm hoping this year is the year I don't leave the physical in tears because of what I have done to this body. I think I am finally getting it!! I hope and pray anyway.

Talk to you all later, Hugs and smoochies......
