Mini Stepper & Flaxseed Program

  • Ok So Ive Starting This New Program Recently
Ive been looking around online, reading magazines & watching programs on tv about some weight loss regimens, ive started my own program that involves using a mini stepper & flaxseeds.

    FLAXSEEDS

According to most health specialist including Dr.Oz; Flaxseeds have said to be one of the best natural ways to loss weight with no side effects (best part) Sprinkle a tbsp spoon on every meal or just swallow a tbsp before each meal....(i prefer sprinkling, gives your food a nutty flavor, Yum! No More Than 4tbsp are recommended in a day)

Usually any local health food place will have flaxseeds in stock. (flaxseeds come whole so you will need a coffee grinder of some sort because without that you will never get the true nutrients of it! 1lb bag= no more than $4. & youll get 2lbs when grinded. For a months worth of flaxseeds you will need to bags of ungrinded seeds)

    MINISTEPPER

In my eyes ministeppers are great inventions, you can get on twice a day for 40mins a go or an 1hr & 20mins a day OR four times a day for 20mins a go....Either way you need atleast 1hr & halves worth of time in your day.
Some ministeppers have weight limits of 200lbs other are more durable. I found one of course the is more durable for $75 (what a steal!)

Here is a tip i found of great use!:

When using your ministepper, instead of going fully down on it, do short light strides, you will quickly learn a pace for yourself that your comfortable with.

So far ive lost 15lbs, hopefully i keeping losing!!! & to anyone else whos willing to try this good luck on your endevours!!!
  • What kind of mini-stepper did you get? I'm on my 2nd one, because they start wheezing quite loudly after a few months of regular use. I still love it, though.

I add flax seed to my granola every morning, but only a teaspoon or so as I don't really love the taste.

Congrats on your loss and good luck!
  • Well, Dr Oz is more quack than health specialist but flax seeds aren't shown to have weight loss benefits. They do provide healthy fats to your diet though. Be sure to refrigerate them though.

If you grind one pound of flax seed, it will not magically become 2 pounds, it will still weigh 1 pound. Good luck with your program.
  • I keep unground raw flax seed in the freezer. I grind about a week's worth at a time using a coffee grinder, and keep the meal in the fridge. I've bought the preground but it had a weird flavor. Besides the other health benefits of it, the fiber from flax is great for keeping things moving, if you know what I mean. I haven't noticed it helping in actual weight loss, though. I've tried a couple of things that have come up on Dr. Oz, and not one thing has actually made any difference at all.

And of course exercise is a great way to keep the pounds coming off. Good luck with your program!
  • Glad you found something that works for you. Whatever gets ya there!
