My poor girls! It seems like everyone is having a tough March don't you think so? Lots of complaining about bad eating etc. Maybe it is something in the wind!
Tina: As I don't want to encourage binging, I will not contribute my yogurt raisins (I HATE them!) to you, but hey I am pretty pathetic too, I bought a box of Chocolate Teddy Grahams thinking that was a nice "cookie" snack and wasn't too bad calories and fat wise, but you have to keep your

hand from going back into the box. I did stretch them over 3 days, but that was still very naughty. Maybe you should buy the loose kind you can get in stores and buy like a 1/4 lb or something.
Deon: That was a great idea. Jack quit when I went into the hospital for gall bladder surgery, but before then, I made him stand outside (in Northern Indiana) to smoke. I wasn't going to make it easy for him and we had moved into a really nice big apartment and I was not about to have cigarette smoke on everything.
As for children and motivational discipline (like how I used both?

) we had a real mess. Take one dad who is gone off and on for 6-9 months at a time, a stressed out mother who gets tired of dealing with the little sneaky stinkers and you have trouble. Jack was a strong disciplinarian and I of course tended to not back him because his punishments were always too harsh and didn't fit the crime. That I wouldn't do again. I would stay out of the way. They might hate us, but at least there would have been consistency. We had some real rebellion problems with the oldest and the trickle down was that my dd got ignored a lot because we were dealing with ds so much. She was immature for her age but extremely intellectually gifted so she never fit in. The son was gifted in the same way and artistically, but I recently found out hated the gifted programs we got him into because it made him different. How we could have helped them both had we known. How they ever came out half decent is beyond me. They still are far from perfect, but they are adults and only answer to themselves now!
First load of laundry should be about done so I am going to get off.
