I love all the NSVs!

I bought 2 tank tops for the first time in years, today! And I wore one out in public. I'm working my butt off (literally) and it's hot (I live in Phoenix) and I will be darned if I am going to sweat miserably all summer. I'm wearing some dang tank tops! And I feel good about it!

OMGOSH you guys all have great NSV's I smiled reading them.

Here's mine:

Yesterday evening, I went to get my new summer tires, and when I went, my fiance took them into the car, and I was telling the lady there, that I was glad I brought him with me or I wouldn't have been able to pick them up. She then proceeded to say "My daughter can pick them up no problem, but you're so tiny! I don't expect you to pick those up!!"

I....was...shocked....TINY?!?! REALLY!?!? MEEE?!?!? YAAAAYYYYY

I honestly had the dorkiest smile on for hours. That just made my day. lol

I did the MS walk over the weekend. Our team leader is a great friend - we met through his wife, and I was maid of honor at their wedding in September. The rest of the team was mostly their friends and family, and I hadn't seen any of them since the wedding. That was almost 40 pounds ago. Today my friend told me that all they (her parents and both his sisters and his BIL) have been talking about this week is ME! She said I am a rockstar in their families.

It somehow feels more special coming from her. Trying on bridesmaid dresses for her wedding was my last straw, and what started this whole journey.

I saw a profile view of myself and just thought "I look pretty good" and barely noticed my lower pooch that I'm working on.

Also, I did C25K Day 1 today. I didn't scrimp, exchange a 60 second run for walking, I didn't throw up and I don't feel like I'm going to die! I do know now that I desperately need a new sports bra

Major awesome NSVs today, my trainer measured me and I have lost some really good inches! I mean, my neck alone shrunk by 1.25 inches in 6 weeks. What madness is that??? Just goes to show...... the scale isn't everything....

I have a good NSV. I have lost 41 pounds and my Dr. took me off all of my meds, Diabetic meds, high BP meds, cholesterols meds. That is the best gift of losing this wieght, alothough I know I still have alot to go.

1.) I was able to fit into 95% of my cousins hand me down clothing (sizes 14-16).

2.) An old flame is sniffing at the door and I am being a decent person by NOT giving him a chance to hurt him. (He burned me bad...)

When I showered this morning I wrapped the towel around my body and it covered EVERYTHING! No more bathrobe needed to get from the shower to the bedroom.

Well, no longer the first week of May, but this happened to me last night.

I went to the pool and was trying to teach my son how to back float. Well, I found I can't float still any more! My legs sink!!!! Like lead! I have to kick to keep up!!! Huge NSV for me as it's proof that I no longer have much fat!

I couldn't get anything at the Lane Bryant outlet today. It was all too big. A year and change ago, I had the same problem, but on the opposite end.
