I love a few styles of Japanese street fashion, but the clothing is for women of a smaller size than I am. I'm hoping to lose weight and then add around $200 worth of the super-gorgeous clothing they have on an online mall called Ratuken.

Actually, they're having a sale right now with free shipping. Maybe I can reward my small weightloss with a purse?

My family and friends inspire me every day. I did post a photo from Christmas 2010 on the fridge as a reminder, and I kept the size 24 jeans I used to wear, but it's all the little things day to day the kept (keep) me going on plan. And the fact that I announced at my gym that I was going to lose 100 pounds (since changed to hold at 90 pounds) by Christmas of last year! Say it out loud and it is harder to back down from, I guess!

Coming in here and seeing how everyone supports each other is a help, too. A huge help. It's great to know it can be done, and in a relatively short time for many. Keep your goals reasonable and they'll help you stay on plan and on track.

What a coincidence - a coworker just introduced me to pinterest today!

What inspires me is stories of people who have gone through this weight loss battle and won. If tey can do it, so can I!

Goals inspire me too. I try to set goals for myself to keep me going forward. Right now, it's a fitness goal, to run 3 miles without stopping. Just last week, I was doing two minutes here, two there, then I strung along 5 minutes here and there, and then I ran for 14 minutes on Saturday without stopping, and TODAY I did 20 minutes, or 1.57 miles! I feel so proud of myself. And I feel inspired to continue to become fitter.
