I like to feel hungry before bed - it makes me realize that I'll be burning fat the whole night while I sleep!

But if it's really rumbling and I'm seriously hungry, I get a little bit of something to calm it down - 1/2 hard boiled egg or a couple of triscuits. Otherwise I have trouble falling asleep.

Lately, what works for me is hot chamomile tea. It has the added benefit of better putting me to sleep so there's less chance I'll get up and eat something anyway.

I need a late snack as a blood sugar control so I just plan a snack every night. It has just become part of my routine. I like the dannon yogurt. 80 cals is a good snack

I stick some veggies in a pot-like cabbage and boil. I drink the broth and eat the veggies, its soo filling for hours.
Sometimes I can't even finish the soup.

I don't like it when I get so hungry late! If it's bothering me enough that I can't fall asleep, I usually grab string cheese. That seems to take away the hunger, and it's not too heavy to eat before going to bed.

I tend to just drink some ice water. If I'm hungry enough for it to keep my awake though, I'll have some fruit or a hard-boiled egg or a small bowl of cereal, just something to take the edge off really.

In my case, it usually depends on how hungry I am. If it's not much, I will just drink a glass of water (right before getting in bed), or maybe a small glass of skimmed milk. If I am hungrier, an apple (good to help you sleep, btw) or a small glass of yogurth if there is some at home.

Like luckymommy said, Greek yogurt is a better option. The low fat one is creamier and less acid than normal yogurth, so you don't have to add sweeteners to make it bearable.

LOL -- no, on the side. I have yogurt with breakfast sausage on the side. Not into it.

This is a problem for me too. I end up eating later than I should, which I know is bad for me.

If I am hungry before bed, I can't stand it so I will eat something small, even if it is a nut or two, or a berry or two.

I love the MyFittnessPal app! Mine is set for 1200 calories. Sometimes, even that is hard to meet with my busy schedule! But try to meet your calorie goals. I don't think being very hungry is really a good sign, make sure if you have to work out late, you eat a foods that are incredibly nutritious for dinner! Eat good carbs and good fats! But you can always drink some water with a pinch of lemon! Maybe even some warm green tea? That always works when I need a little pickerup.

I'm another tall glass of ice water drinker. Sometimes I'll eat some berries. I haven't yet been so hungry that I can't fall asleep.
But if you're well within your calorie limits it shouldn't be a huge deal to just eat something that fits. You shouldn't have to feel guilty about that.

Oh thank god for Crystal Light! I'd never be able to drink all the water I should without it! I like to mix one big packet of tea flavored with one big packet of lemonade flavored in a gallon pitcher. It takes me roughly 2 days to drink it which works out to eight 8oz glasses a day. Perfect!

I usually have a Kroger brand LOW-CARB yogurt before bed because I have a sweet tooth! about 60 calories each, 1.5 fat and 3-4 carbs, 3grms of sugar. The Bananna Cream Pie and white chocolate raspberry flavors are NEW and are TO DIE FOR!
