I am an alcoholic too, I haven't drank for two years. When I sobered up I felt like I had no skin, I felt edgy and irritable quite a bit. Eat a lot of protein, but dont beat yourself up. Patience. When I quit I gained something like twenty pounds. It happens. Try to treat yourself as well as you can, and take it one 24 hour period at a time (I even think 12 hours!). These forums are a good place to start, food is even trickier for me that alcohol and that was damn tricky! Keep making your voice heard and reaching out, you'll be alright. If you want a healthy eating buddy, I'm down, I need that too. Oh, and CONGRATULATIONS, if you stick with it you're embarking on the best ride of your life.
