WOW! I watched this and it totally confirmed everything about my health issues. And now I see my oldest son taking after me as I did as a child. He's not overweight but his hunger has increased and I'm thinking now its because he has increased his juice intake and sugar intake. Thank you for this!
I have to keep sugar out of my diet = I can eat potatoes, quinoa and veggies and apples and other fruit (not bananas) and the sugar cravings stay at bay. If I eat ONE MEAL with sugar, I start to crave it and I'm insane for the next 24 hours to 48 hours with cravings. I can't stand it. I have to be really strick with no sweets (even fruits) for about 24 hours and then the cravings go away again. Thanksgiving is killing me as I had a half slice of pumpkin pie and a 1/2 serving of pumpkin cheesecake. And for three days now I've been craving sugar - TOTAL SUCKS!!! I just have to stay away from the simple sugars - period!
Just finished it! Very informative. Similar to the seminar one of the docs my husband works with gave. Seems there is an every growing medical community that is speaking out to the dangers of sugars.

I am seeing the same thing with myself. I am in the process of seeing what I can and cant eat with triggering a binge. And yes, I feel out of control for like one to two days! I haven't added fruit back in yet, but I will. I had a sweet potato at Thanksgiving, and definitely had some cravings after, however I was not there for the food prep and its possible there was sugar hidden else where in the foods I ate..
Worked for me too! It's really what kick started my weight loss after I finally got back into exercise. I now do eat the occasional sweet but in very small amounts. I'll make my own desserts, which are normally fruit based and sometimes include natural sweeteners.
I know it's not for everyone but it radically changed my life.
The white carbs effect my sugar levels too and make me crave the sweet things. So I have to also stay away from white flour bread/cakes, pastries, pasta (when I do eat pasta it's whole grain) cause my cravings kick in again with white pasta.
