My daughter and I have been walking together in the evenings. She just had a baby 10 days ago, and also has a 4 year old son. Tonight we walked with both kids for the first time, with my new grandson in the stroller and my older grandson in his motorized jeep. My oldest grandson would drive his jeep past me and say "Grammy, run and catch up" - and I could do it! A few months ago, I wouldn't have dreamed of even trying. It was so much fun! When we were about 8 blocks from home, the batteries on his jeep died. The old me would have called someone to come pick us up, but instead - the new me pushed his jeep 8 blocks home, with him driving, and didn't feel like collapsing afterwards! It feels so good to be able to do things like this with my grandkids.....I never thought I would see this day - and I just wanted to share
