I'm right back at the beginning, lol. Considering the last two weeks has been a big ol' weight roller coaster I guess it's not too bad. Time to really buckle down and do what I need to do!
Looks like I'm still a week behind, but at least I'm going in the right direction. If I hit Onederland the week after my birthday, I probably won't be too disappointed.

Huh. I'm up 3 lbs from yesterday, and I know I didn't eat an extra 3 lbs of food so... I suspect water retention as the main culprit (from weightlifting yesterday, probably). I'll wait until Friday to post my weight here, since I'll be weighing in on Friday for the BL Challenge.
Ahhhh, weightlifting...that use to be my favorite subject in school ! I haven't done it in years. I've thought about buying simple hand weights but considering my level of stick-to-it-ness I know better.
No weight loss for me since last Wednesday, but that's ok. I've been ravenous this last week (I'm suspecting the culprit is TOM) and went over my calories yesterday, but it was in turkey so I don't feel super bad about it, lol. I'll just keep plugging away!

As you can see I kinda piggybacked off 2sw33t's thread and was hoping to be down to 202...not going to happen, hahaha! But I am still happy with the progress that I have made.
I'm back down to where I was, but that leaves me at 5 lbs above where I'd hoped to be. I still think there's some water retention involved, because my muscles are still sore.

I've been at the same weight for two weeks. I can come up with a million reasons for it, but, ultimately, if I was never eating off-plan (like, all weekend), I probably wouldn't have this problem. At this point, I've lost 5 lbs in 5 weeks - so it's not terrible, but I could be doing better.
2sw33t - You sound like you're down. Don't be so hard on yourself! Look at me, I've stayed the same for 3 weeks too. It is what it is and I for one am proud of both of us! We're not gaining, which let's admit is an accomplishment for 2 people who are overweight. Trust me, when I was gaining weight I only weighed myself once a month because I couldn't stand to see the scale go up. Now I weigh myself everyday. I consider the scale not going up a victory! It means that I have broken a lot of bad habits already.
Last night I had a thought, 2 months ago I would have been thrilled to see 218 on the scale. Yet, if I were to see 218 now I would be heartbroken. I won't be at 202 on 10/12, but if I keep doing what I'm doing, I won't be at 220 either.
Thanks - I'd definitely rather be where I am now than where I was two months ago, and I am glad that I'm not gaining. Guess it's just going to take a bit longer to get where we're going.
Don't feel down you guys! You may not be exactly where you wanted to be by the 13th but you're both making progress and even though you're not losing lbs you may be losing inches. I lost nothing last week but my pants are fitting a lot more loose nowadays. Stay with it, you'll make it!
My weigh in day is Sunday but right now the scale seems to be slooooowly moving in the right direction. Crossing my fingers for a loss this week.
