We have been without computer access since Sat. You would have thought dh was going to go crazy. My family was here this weekend so eating was hard. But I am trying to pull it back together this week.
Angel I am sorry to hear that you are so down. Don't give up yet! 60 days is still plenty of time! Obviously your fiancee loves you no matter what. He fell in love with you just the way you are. Do they have a personal training program at the gym you go to. Or a nutrionist. Sometimes certain people eat foods that react with them differently. I know one lady in my TOPS group if she eats any sugar at all she will not lose. Have you had a physical recently to. Maybe your thyroid is off after the hysterectomy. I am certainly not a doctor but just some ideas I had. It might be worth checking it out.

Glad to hear from you Beth.... I know how hard food control is when family is around.
I have had a personal trainer. They are the one that set up my program. Also spoke with a nutrionalist and she basically said I was doing right (I was a little high on the sweets and have since cut them back). Been seeing a doctor weekly while they tried to adjust my hormonal level and that does mess with your thyroid.... only they wont work on the thyroid until they fix the hormones... it is too frustrating for words.
I have started something that I never thought I would and I have to say that after 2 Days I have already lost 3.5 pounds. I have started taking Hydroxycut. I only take 4 pills a day not the 6-9 that they recommend. I never thought I would take diet pills but I hate to say that they are working right now (which is of course only 2 days). I am now back down 201.5#. Which I havent really been able to get down to in awhile. I am still doing everything else the same.... same eating, same exercise..... so that I can only account the weight lose to the pills.... we shall see... I am not a big fan of this stuff but if it works I am going to use it....
Anyway, thanks for letting me vent the other day. I was definetly at a low. I hope this stuff keeps working. I really do want to be thinner for my big day.

Well I have good news to report. I am down another 2.75! Yeah! I feel great to because I have never really felt deprived. I eat some of my favs every now and then. I could live on this forever. (I think!) I hope to be down another ten by the time we go on vacation. I have not seen some of my husbands family in over a year and that would be a great feeling.
Angel I am glad you are feeling better. Just make sure you are being careful with the diet pills! They had a lady on one of the news shows like Today of GMA just this week that took some thing and had to have a liver transplant after only a few weeks on it. I only caught the tail end of the story so I can't give you the specifics. I could say a lot more but I know you are a grown woman and intelligent enough to make an educated decisoin. I just wanted to say be careful. Good Luck!

Way TO Go Beth.... 2.75 Pounds..... WOW!!!! YOu are doing wonderful.
Well I am now down to 199.5# and the only thing different that I have done is take these pills.... I am still eating the same amount of calories and exercising the same amount. The only change is these pills.... I havent been on this side of 200#'s in well over 1 1/2 years.... I am not a fan of taking pills believe me but I have to admit they are doing something.... I am starting to think I have a chance to be about 175# for my wedding.... which was not my goal that I originally had but I will take it....
I know how you feel Beth. When I had friends start taking them I would lecture them and tell them that it isnt the way to do it.... I have been there.... but I have to say that I have honestly tried the right way with no success.... I would lose and gain the same 4-5#'s which I am now believing was during when period should have been.... I havent stopped doing all the right things and I am not taking the full amount by no means, but I think it is helping raise my metabolism. I think Because of the medical problems that I have that I needed the little boost that most people dont need..... I have heard of people that take these though and then after awhile their body gets used to it and dont lose anymore.... we shall see.....

I am still here! I must say I post in several other areas and all of them have lost a lot of members to. Maybe we need to start again and some new people will join. I also will try to look out for newbies looking for some buddies. But glad to see you today Winnie.
Angel I wanted to let you know that one of the ladies I post with just had a hysterctomy herself. She seemed very interested to correspond with you. Her name is Sandy and she goes by gigglez on here. If you are interested you could probably pm her. She is one of the ladies hanging on a thread that I post to. It seems like her and I are the only ones left anymore. I may just invite her to come on over.
I have been hanging in here this week. My food has been a little hairy. Doesn't seem like when ever you are doing well you sabbotage yourself. Or maybe just get a little lax and think oh I can eat that its okay! Well I am going to exercise 2 time a day to make up for it for the next couple of days.
These construction guys are really starting to tick me off to! They were supposed to be completed Feb 27. They still probably have at least a weeks worth of work left. That is if they can work a whole week straight! They come and go as they please and don't even call. Like I don't have a life and just can sit here everyday waiting on them. Then yesterday they go to get the bathroom tile. The worker was teasing me that I had picked something really exspensive. The owner never gave me any guidelines to how much I could spend. I picked out something on sale and he missed the sale twice and had to pay full price. I guess he was a little miffed about it. So they tell me the closet in the bathroom is not included! I have to buy other tile and pay them extra to lay it! Whoever heard of such crap! We fixed them though. Dh is going to lay it himself. They have continually made accusations that they have given us a lot of stuff for free. I never asked for any of it! The problem was the owner only have looked at the job and then when they started it was a lot more work then anticipated. Well thats his problem not mine! I guess I should say that he has not asked for anymore money until yesterday. But now I am afraid they are going to try to start sticking it to me everyway they can. I have one more thing and then I am finished venting. The owner wife left him since he began my house. He claims she is mentally ill and a drug addict. You probably wonder how I know this. Because he has indulged all his personal crap on me! He did get custody of his kids so maybe he is telling the truth. I tried to be sympathetic but now I don't care. I just want them to finish and get out of my house! Okay enough said. I feel better just getting it off my chest!

IT was imposible to get on the computer my brother took it over . well I really gained alot of weight if the family here for so long. But I am back in control and plan on staying with the plan. Today was the first time I was able to exercise but I did it.

The pain med and the lupron that I were on just decided to call out to all food and told it to come on in. I ended up havin a hyst a little over a month and a half ago and have lost 6 lbs so far. I guess that I am tooting my on horn but hey sometimes you just gotta to those things. I could go on but I have to get and get dinner ready for my hungry crew. Hope that everyone is havin a great week.
