Question Could use a little support...

I am at work taking a afternoon break, I just found this web site today, I sit here knowing I need to lose weight and that I want to lose weight. I have tried tons of diets! Some have worked some have only lasted a day or two...My biggest problem is that I love food! I like to exercise once I get started but getting started is tough, I don't have much time to myself! I am married with two children and they get my time! Which is how it should be, but I have got to figure a way to do this! Please help! I am 230lbs, only 5ft3in at age 35! I have set myself a short term goal of 175lbs. If I can ever make it down to there, I will reevaluate at that time! Thanks!!

Plb you have found the right sight. There are many wonderful people who offer much needed support. I know all about the not having time to myself. I find that if I want to get anything done I have to do it while everyone else is in bed or after my son goes to school and hubby goes to work. Then it is hard to get everything done that I want to accomplish. I try to do mini workouts when I am cleaning house, it's nothing compared to what I should be doing but it beats nothing at all, Try doing something on your luch break or before work if you have the time to yourself then or at least after all is in the bed at night, sometimes it is easoer said than done but you have to put your mind to it and go for it. Good luck. Please let me know if there is anyway I can be of any help to you.

Angry We Feel For Ya!

We're all here looking for help and believe me, you'll find plenty of people willing to dish out the encouragement!

You and I are in the same place in life. I'm 36yrs old, 5'5", and 240lbs.. I have a long term goal of 140lbs, but my short term goal is to stay on my eating plan for a week! One day at a time!

My group thread is called Diamonds In The Rough if you'd ever like to drop us a line! We're a group of ladies who've just started our weightloss/exercise plans (I just started on Monday!) and are encouraging eachother every day.

Take a look around this website and you'll get lots of advise, great food and exercise ideas, and lots of great people to chat with. I've only been here a few days and already I feel like I've made great friends!

Good luck in your quest for better health!
