Hey ladies! I actually wanted to jump in! I had the goal of trying to lose 10 lbs this month. Ideally, losing it in 3 weeks before I go to Vegas would be ideal. I just want to step up my workouts and really watch my eating so that I'm at my best for the trip.

Soo it is nearing the end of the weekend here in the UK and i must say i am massively proud of myself...not one single binge all weekend!! that hasnt happened since some time in 2010!!! I am so impressed now im just hoping that the scale agrees at the end of the week!

themilesawaygirl 06-05-2011 11:56 AM

Blondie - congrats! You're right to be proud of yourself!

I wish I could say the same. I've eaten terribly this weekend, not watching anything that's passing my lips. I'm determined to make next week better.

Great to see how well everyone is doing :) I was proud of myself this weekend, saying no to both Taco Time and a pizza night and finishing the first week of C25K. Scale isn't moving nearly as fast as I wish it would but at least it isn't going up. Also, finally got some sun up here in Seattle which we pretty much haven't seen in the last seven months. Hope you all have a good week!

chubbypanda 06-05-2011 11:46 PM

Woo!

YES! I am totally jumping on this train :carrot:

I am a couple of days late, but I am so ready for something like this. I lost a little over 10 lbs between April 15 and now. The weight loss has stalled for the last week and a half, but that could very well be due to the fact my weight loss has been less intense and frequent since a huge television has taken up space in the living room. Hopefully we will have a stand for it soon, and the old entertainment center can be moved out of the way for it!

I will try to accomplish this loss by working out two hours a day. One hour muscle group work, one hour brisk walking. My calories have averaged to about 1250 with calorie cycling, but I may try eating as close to 1200 as possible for the next week and see if I can get the scale to budge. That will create a calorie deficit of about 445 calories, according to one calculator. If I walk during my lunch and 15-minute breaks, that will be about roughly 490 calories burned for the day...hmm. That will only get me about -7 lbs tops. Maybe double up on workouts during the weekend? :?:

This is an exciting challenge, even if it seems mathematically improbable to meet. But the body can be a mysterious thing :D I am going to try for it nonetheless, without going under 1200 on calories or doing anything too drastic.

Keep updating, chicks!

Didn't stay on plan this weekend, i hope to make up for it during the week, it's always a lot easier for me to stay on plan during the week.
Have a great week y'all.

Hey guys. Sorry I'm late with my check-in, I was working all weekend.

starting weight 156
06/03 - 154
06/10 -
06/17 -
06/24 -
07/01 - 145

I'm heading in the right direction, at least. My eating was on track all weekend although my exercise unfortunately wasn't.

I still feel sure we can do this!!

Jelma 06-06-2011 11:18 AM

I am late with my check in too, I didn't count 6/1 because I was 152, 4 pounds higher than my last May weigh-in and I am always higher in the beginning to middle of the week.

6/3 - 149
6/10 -
6/17 -
6/24 -
7/1 -

After this past weekend it would be a miracle if I lose a pound this week. Went to visit my family in TN and totally gorged. I am stepping up the exercise routine this week so helpfully that helps!

Crow, Jelma, Love2b150; you guys are keeping it real by making the pin on scale go left!
All the best, keep on keeping it real!

Well, it's weigh in day for me! I'm a little bummed because this time of the month I tend to lose like gang busters, so I needed the bulk of the loss this week and week 4 (I don't tend to lose from TTOM until ovulation). But, it is a loss and I will celebrate it!

6/1/11: 205.4
6/8/11: 203.2 (-2.2)
6/15/11:
6/22/11:
6/29/11:
Goal weight by 7/01/11: 195.0

MaryOjo 06-08-2011 10:03 AM

berryblonde, it's not a loss, it's a huge loss! Way to go.

runningfromfat 06-08-2011 10:23 AM

It's also TOM for me so, eh... I'm definitely still pretty bloated, fun. :(

Starting average weight: 189
June 1: 190.9
June 8: 190.5 (TOM)
June 15
June 22:
June 28:
End average weight:
Goal Weight: 179

Hi ladies! So I just started Sunday and my weigh-in is today so...

Starting 6/2 : 232
6/8: 231

1 lb in 3 days- I'll celebrate it!
I need to get a better scale at home though, any suggestions?
I would like a digital one that will keep the reading a few seconds after I get off of it. I don't understand why ppl tell you to look straight ahead instead of down while on a scale. The position of your head adds/subtracts pounds?? And if I'm weighing in at home, I have to look down as I have the old school scale.

I've never heard that about your head... sounds so weird. I always checked scales by weighing myself on a bunch of them and I try to pick one that's sort of in the middle. Once before I had weighed myself at the docs and gone right afterwards to try and find one that matched.
