Thumbs down TOM and Laziness

So, TOM is here and I feel 20lbs heavier ( actually gained 3lbs from water weight) ! I feel so lazy and all I want to do to lay in bed. Don't have a huge appetite and cramps are kicking my *** .. And its raining , booooooo! I just feel like BLAH right now!

Just a bit of venting , thanks :-)

I hate TOM!!! If TOM was a real person I would kick his a**! I always gain 2lbs and feel exhausted a few days before. I mean ready for bed at 8pm exhausted. I feel bloated and don't even get me started about the cramps. Then the weepiness starts. I cry over stupid commercials......COMMERCIALS!! WTF? So Diamond, I feel your pain. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes, I can relate to how you feel. I used to HATE HATE HATE having TOM. Especially from the scale and cramping perspective. But in a weird way, one month, it motivated me to go to the gym. I found that working out, even just walking, helped with my cramps. And I worked out harder because the number on my scale bothered me. So after my water whoosh after TOM is over, I get elated! Plus, I heard that your metabolism is higher during TOM so I take advantage. Even if it's not true, I'm gonna pretend it is!

It's raining here too today. Boo to the east coast! I hope you feel better soon.

I've heard even light exercise helps alleviate cramps but I get it SO bad that I usually don't even want to eat, let alone exercise :/ Heck I guess I really should try to take advantage of my decreased appetite and work out a little lol. Gonna pencil that onto my calendar so I don't conveniently 'forget' and just let myself stay home on the couch being miserable

Relating here too. TOM came this month only 10 days after the last one, and I've had cramps for 5 effing days now. I feel so sluggish and don't want to do anything, and there is SO much that needs to get done. I did make it to the gym the last 4 days, but today might need to be a break day.

On the bright side... my scale had been holding steady for 5 days, and I finally saw a whoosh this morning. Hopefully that means TOM will be moving on soon.

Yup...TOM week for me too! Grrrhh!

I try to get more sleep the first 2 days. I DO, however, continue exercising. You feel like poop at the start, but if you push through...you feel amazing afterwards. Also helps you not to strangle anyone nearby..

Feel better soon!
