Mine are still here 12 lbs from goal weight & wearing a size 6/8. I'm SO relieved to read I"m not the only one where one side is bigger than the other lol!! My left side is almost non-existent, and my right side has love handles!

Thanks everyone for the input! Ok, after reading through everyone's responses it looks like these love handles might very well be here to stay. umm... in that case, at what point do they no longer look noticeable?

Because right now I have to be super careful what I wear otherwise I either a.) have a super saggy butt because my pants are way too big or b.) have a serious muffin top but the legs/butt fit (the waist technically fits but my pants seem to like to slide down until they are right underneath my love handles just to accentuate them better ). I can deal with the pudge in the front but the part sticking out on the sides just drives me insane! For the moment I'm in my old maternity clothes because they're the only thing that sort of hide the love handles.

After 25 lbs loss I realized that I had almost lost my love handles....not missing them!

For me, it was about 15-20 pounds down from hitting a normal weight (so about 130-135) -- they were definitely less noticeable. Once I hit the low 120s, I could hardly notice them at all.

I don't recall the exact weight I was when my love handles disappeared. I never had them around my tummy (it was one solid blob), but I did have them on my back right below my bra line. One day I had my husband take a comparison photo of me and they were just GONE. But now that I don't have them to focus on anymore it has just allowed me to criticize other parts of me.
