Oh Shannon, I'm so glad and you are so right about date nights. My husband and I just had one on Saturday night - first time in over a year and it was so nice to yes, see your husband as your lover, not your pain in the butt spouse.

And getting all glammed up, especially when that's not the norm, makes you feel sexy, no matter what your size and I'm glad you got taht sparkle back. I'm sure your husband was happy to see it too! And, welcome to the 40 club! (I turned 41 in December).

I understand where you are coming from. Formal clothes are my bain. I would much rather shop for a swimsuit any day than shop for a dress. I'm not sure why, it's the only weight related subject that can reduce me to tears in a matter of a few minutes, even with some of the really pretty options at places like Torrid and Target, I get so frustrated right off the bat that I can't take it. LOL... for me that's when the self hating Jenny rears her ugly head. LOL
