Question considering getting a pedometer

Im thinking about getting a pedometer, I dont really have a large budget so i cant afford some new high tech gadget that does everything except cook dinner.

I'm looking at the Omron HJ-203, anyone love or hate this product? or have one they love and want to recommend?

Thanks!

I have one (an Omron) and also bought them for my Mom, DW and 2 close friends. Everyone is happy with them

I have an Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer and really like it because I can have it in my pocket instead of wearing it on my waist.

I love my Omron pedometer! I got mine off Amazon for around $20. I have been using mine for the past 3 years. It keeps me encouraged to keep it moving!

I have an Omron HJ-720ITC. It is the more expensive one. My parents got it for me for Christmas. I love it. As some one has already mentioned, the fact you can just have it in your pocket is great.

I've just gotta throw out an endorsement for the FitBit. I absolutely love this $99 gadget. It's a pedometer, sleep monitor, calorie counter all in one package. I can track my food/weight/measurements/mood/BMI and other measurements on their website. It's proven quite accurate so far; since buying this guy and getting motivated by 3FC I've lost about 1.5kg in actual weight (not just water weight like usual). That doesn't seem like much, but it's more than I've done in 22 years. And this little guy is super-convenient. Highly recommended.
