Talking I WILL go to the gym tonight!

Stupid Ice! This mess needs to go on ahead and melt already! I worked from home (stranded!) Monday and Tuesday, so I couldn't go then. I tried to make up by exercising on my balance ball for 30 mins last night and doing the MJ Experience for 30 mins on my Wii this morning It's just not the same as my gym with it's glorious kid free workout! lol No child cat, or well meaning silly humored husband trying to break it down in his undies tripping or cracking you upwhile you try to arrange your PJ clad self into a moonwalk for that perfect score!

I did make it to work today with a few pretty bad spots in my part of town, but it should be mostly ok this evening. Didn't wanna venture out at 4:45am lest I slide off into a ditch and no one see me! Decided to groove to some Smooth Criminal over coffee with the bad little kitten at the crack of dawn instead! lol

I miss my routine though, so I'm declaring to not get distracted or deterred and get back in there tonight! Ice be darned!

You're braver than me. I won't even go to the mailbox. We still have snow and ice. Even the buses weren't running and I missed traffic court. I can only hope since the city has been fubar'd for three days I won't be in too much trouble. I too wish this stuff would melt, it's starting to right now but it's sunset and I know it's just going to refreeze tonight. I want it to go away so I can walk my 3 miles. I miss walking. I'm feeling like a fatty even though I know I haven't gained a thing.

I stayed home for the past 3 days. Did a little leg lifts and a lot of crunches yesterday, but no real effort. Just got back in from walking the dog. It was like cross-country skiing. I wouldn't lift my feet. Luckily the dog was having difficulty too, or I would be in the next county by now. Back to the gym tomorrow. Whew!

What's up with this artic weather? Nuts! I've never seen it like this in AL this frequently or for it to last this long. I am ready for SPRING! I'd never make it up north! lol

all the snow and ice here (just north of Charlotte, NC) kept me from the gym today, but I did take my dog for a three and a half mile walk. We usually go five or six miles. I slipped several times, and fell once, but it was still good to get out and move!

Woohoo! Tonight, I will go trudging out in it to take my dog for his walk, and this time I will bring a scarf, for I nearly froze my face off yesterday.

I hear you about spring. I can't wait. What's bad is the cold weather started later this year but I'm already sick of it. Come on spring and shorts weather.

I'll be heading to the gym for the 2nd time today. I'm originally from Philly and now live in Colorado, so there has to be an outrageous amount of snow for me not to go out and do what I have to do

I hate, loath and despite snow. If I was depending on the gym I'd be screwed! I go out as little as possible when it's so cold. I'm a wimp. You'd think I was raised on the equator.

I was raised out west which is the equivalent to the equator compared to this side of the country's winter weather.

I am from South Dakota. I love the snow!! They don't have plowing on the hilly, curvy, shady, small town road I live on, and I drive a light convertible. I know how to drive in snow, I am also smart enough to know when not to.

So, I live on campus and my dorm is about fifty feet from the fitness center. To think I almost opted out today because it was "too cold." Incidentally...I live in Florida. Oh how the south has spoiled me. The rest of you are very brave
