Okay, wishy washy chatters.... I here by declare that we check out Baylee's chat room Wednesday...Nov 20th, 2002 at 6PM Central; 7PM Eastern...the rest of you have to figure it out from there.....
I'm here Mary! Just stopping in real quick to say hello to everyone and good morning! I hope all of my family have a wonderful OP day today, as I will and I will check in with you later.
I do have to tell you that unfortunately, I will probably miss chat tonight. I go to church on Wednesday nights and it starts at 7:00 and I don't usually get home around 9:00. As I've already told Baylee, I will be there in spirit.
Have a wonderful day and I will see you guys later!
Hey everyone! It is a bee-yoo-ti-ful day! I have already done some Christmas shopping this morning! Kohl's was having a big sale and they opened at 7am...I zipped over right after work to beat the crowds. Good grief, I got a LOT of stuff! I had a 15% off coupon, so on top of all the 1/2 price specials, I made out like a bandit! Well, my daughter did...that's who will get the bulk of this haul. I did get a "Lord of the Rings" game for my son, but I never got over to the boys dept, I had to get home to see him off to school, nice Mom that I am. Maybe I'll go back later....um.... NOT! I am not good in crowds!
Decision time...sleep now? ~OR~ Get some housework done? ~OR~ Get back out and do some more Christmas shopping?
hmmmm...
Whatever...I'll see you at 7!
PS...don't worry Tina...we'll just talk about you! nothing but good, of course!
I'm happy this morning! I hadn't been losing all week and was feeling a little blah about it but when I stepped hesitantly stepped on the scale this morning, it showed a 3 pound loss! SO... that's 94 pounds down! Only 6 more pounds until I can have that "100 Pounds Lost" party and only 26 more pounds until goal! Dem deres nuffin! At the beginning of the year I had to lose 120 pounds and now... only 26! Hmmm... did I already mention that?! I'm just HAPPY.
Last night I went jogging. That, in and of itself, is not too exciting because I work out everyday. The EXCITING part is that I had already spent an hour at the gym in the afternoon! Yeah, I was feeling restless (a previous excuse to turn into a snack monster) so I dragged my butt outside, INTO THE COLD, and JOGGED!) I think my body KNEW how much I had been putting my heart into my diet/exercise and decided yesterday to grant me those 3 pounds lost!
Baylee: I need to be reinvited to the chat site! I think my email filtered out the invitation as junk mail and I deleted it by accident. Reinvite me! Btw, this is probably gonna sound strange since I've been chatting with you for the last 6 months BUT I've decided I love your name (be it your REAL name or an online alias)! I think I've decided to put it down as an option for any future kids (girls) that my hubby and I have!
Tina: Good for you for throwing out those boxes of Little Debbies. It's definitely NOT wasteful but definitely has the potential to be WAISTFUL if ya know what I mean! Btw, it's absolutely NOT putting pressure on me to be your rock! On the contrary, it's inspirational for me! If I'm other people's rock then I absolutely have to devote myself to reaching my goals! AND THAT'S AWESOME!
Mary: Hope all is well! You must really be missing your grandmother at this time of the year. It sounds like she left quite the positive legacy behind her!
Kat: I never got a chance to tell you that I was relieved your hubby wasn't hurt in the accident! Grrr... that car should have been moved outta the way immediately to prevent accidents! Yeesh... you're probably having to deal with your Insurance Company now and I KNOW that's NO FUN!
Hmmm. Gotta update my journal and then study my Sexual Assault Support Centre Manual a bit for an interview thing I have tomorrow.
It's such a beautiful morning, the is shining and it's suppose to be +9 today, that's about 43 degree's I think, all the snow has pretty much left, This whole week so far has felt like spring, even the birds seem to be coming out again. I love it when the weather is like this, it just seems so bright a cheery out, making me feel bright and cheery. I saw an eagle on my way to work this morning, haven't seen an eagle in years, so that was pretty cool, I usually see deer, and coyote's every day, df is always asking me if I saw any deer on the way home and where, the hunter in him always comes out, I just love living in a place where I can see these magnificent sites daily.
I can't wait for Christmas, and to send out the christmas cards, I ordered a bunch of Christmas cards and wrapping paper from Regal catalogue ( Regal is a home based businness, has the best Christmas stuff, for those who don't know ) as well as my mom sell's Partylite Candle's so I put in a big order for all the holiday candles, like Cookie Spice, and Candy Cane, and Balsam Pine, makes your house smell so yummy It's nice having a mother who sell's the stuff because I get every thing half price. I'm trying to talk hubby into going to Walmart this weekend and getting family portraits done, so I can send them out in the cards, but you know it still is hunting season, will have to try to drag the gun away from him for a couple of hours.
Still don't know about living arrangment's yet, went and looked at a really small 3 bedroom house, I'ts like one of those square box houses, you turn around and your in another room, not enough space, beautiful yard and big back deck, but to small. The only other option right now that has been offered to me, is to buy a trailer, one of the guys I work with has a trailer for sale, it's really old, 1976, and really ugly on the outside, haven't seen the inside yet, he said we can assume the mortage, at $264 dollars a month, and a down payment of $ 1500 dollars, which we can pay off within in a year. There's $20,000 dollars left on the mortage, should be paid off in 10 yrs. DF says with the money were saving each month we'd be able to fix it up and put new carpet it in and new flooring, and what ever else we want to do. I'm just hate jumping into long term things, this is a small town, who know's if there will be work here for us 3 yrs down the road. I just don't know what to do.
Well enough from me right now got to get back to work.
I have got the grandgirls here and they are into EVERYTHING as I tried to read... so I won't be here to post.
It is my DIL birthday today so we are going out tonight for dinner with them. Have fun at chat. I will miss you.
Well another 1.5 lbs gone! I started that TOM thing yesterday so that probably zapped my .5 pounds. I hope to loose 2 pounds every week, but I will take that. How is everyone. I am doing okay. I am still OP, still fighting trying to stay under my points range everyday.
Congratulations Tina, I am glad your boy won! Tell your husband he better not mess up or I know who's door you will be knocking on.
Congraulations Sara! Boy I wish that was me. I am so happy for you. We will all get there in due time. So how long did it take you exactly to loose all that weight? Did you loose consistently each week?
Hi everybody! How's your day going? I had a Subway for lunch and I'm about ready to make a grocery list and get to the store.
I've been pretty much playing all day. I did 4 reports on-line, and read some of my new book (some....haha, I finished it!) Anyway, it's time to get something accomplished. About darn time, it's 4:00 in the afternoon!
Tina: Sweetie, sorry you won't be around tonight. Maybe now that racing season is over, somebody will be interested in trying to chat on a Sunday afternoon. Although, now that there's no Nascar on Sunday for a couple of months, I might actually have a husband back for a couple of weekends.
Katrina: Your verse is so right on! Personally, I like #9. Pissy Mood Syndrom. Ooops, that's me most of the time!
2cute: That shower must have been just beautiful. I wish I would have paid attention and stayed up for it. * Sorry you're not free tonight. Enjoy your celebration.
Arabella: "I don't really post here regularly" ..... you could change that, you know. We'd really love to have you join us.
Mary: How nice that you were offered your grandmother's clothing. You may find that an item or two would be very comforting. My SIL makes teddy bears. When my aunt (who I was very near to) died, I took one of her wool coats and had bears made for me, my mom and my one female cousin. You'd be surprised how much it comforts me to be able to wrap my arms around that bear. [[[hugs]]]
Baylee: I know what you mean when it comes to typing. That's why I pretty much prefer one on one chat like Instant Messaging rather than real 'chat'. Can't type and read all at the same time. I always end up missing half of the conversation.
Sara: Congrats on another 3 pounds, that's wonderful! You'll be at goal in no time at all.
Duckie: What a yuckie time of year to have to be moving. I still have my fingers and toes crossed for you that you'll figure this one out real soon.
Tonya: WooHoo, girl! Another pound and a half. That's terrific. Keep up the good work!
I'm hoping to get in on the chat tonight. Hope all you guys are going to show up too. Gotta run and get something done before then. See ya.
Just got finished chatting with a few of you chickies briefly; it's nice to realize that a bunch of ladies, who've never met in real life, all took time outta their evenings to chat with each other. We ARE, of course, very close friends despite the lack of a physical meeting!
Tontoy... Congratulations on that 1.5 pounds lost! Doesn't it feel great to see that number going down?! Btw, thank YOU for the congrats too. You should take a quick look at my online journal. It kinda outlines my whole weight loss journey if you're interested. I have lost consistently every week but at times, only a pound... other times it's four... doing the exact same thing. Our bodies, to a certain extent, have minds of their own!
Duckie... I hope you get things sorted out with your housing situation as smoothly as possible. Thin's right; it's a yucky time of the year to have do this! Hope all our Christmas cards to you brighten your holidays! (yeah, yeah. I'm gonna send out those addresses shortly!)
HI guys... sorry I missed out on chat tonight. Hope you all had fun.
I had a FULL day today. Babysat for 8 hours and then went out to eat with DIL and her family for her birthday. Both were very enjoyable. My grandbabies are the sweetest.
I am leaving Thursday morning for Missouri to make my weekly visit with my parents. I get a bonus this visit. I am going to go see the play.. "If a man answers...."
It was a cute movie back in 1962... LOL (shows my age)
It starred Sandra Dee and Bobby Darwin. Sandra Dee is a newly wed and asks her mother how to make her new husband do the things she wants to do. Her mother revealed her secret marriage success tips... "get a dog training book and train your husband like you do a puppy.... command and reward. LOL When the husband figures out what is going on.... then the mother uses her second set of marriage secrets.... jealousy !!! The mother calls the daughters home.. and if a man answers... she hangs up. Of course... the husband figures this trick out too. He seeks his comical revenge.
It was a cute comedy back in 1962.... but then I was a mere child then. I hope I am not disappointed in the play and it messes up my good memories.
It is getting late... but I wanted to pop in just in case I sleep too late in the morning to sneak in. Have a great "on program" day.
