Hi, it's been a long time since I have been on here, and I'm happy to see some familiar faces still around!
On 09/22/10 I gave birth to our third child and first GIRL! Her name is Zoey Elizabeth and she's awesome. I am successfully nursing and unsuccessfully exercising and sleeping, so I am back on here to get motivated to drop the baby weight and then to drop the other weight I had re-gained before the baby weight, oops. I am starting c25k over today and will be going back to my strict eating plan I did the last time I got down to 170. Not counting calories but making sure I eat enough of the good stuff, lots of water and letting myself have a (very small) treat every once in a while so I don't go crazy and fall off the wagon. I must say I am excited to get back into shape. I've decided to run a 1/2 marathon next year to ring in Zoey's birthday and I'm hoping to look amazing by then! On the husband front, he is of course gone again (Korea this time though) but we are 3/4 of the way through the year-long absence and when he gets back he only has a few months before he gets out of the Army for good (we hope!) so we're starting a whole new life this summer and I am scared but super excited for that. Ok, mini novel done....I got up to 265 pregnant - awful I know. I am at about 240 now, and am looking to lose around 3-4 pounds a week if I can. Not sure because of nursing how this will pan out, but as long as the numbers are going down, down, down each week I will be satisfied! Keep up the good work everyone, I am off to don my running shoes (I don't even know where they are) and dust off the treadmill and pay the piper for the yearlong sabbatical I took from running. |
09/22/10 was the day my first grandbaby was born. What a wonderful day!

HI TEAM :)
Welcome back CAKSES :carrot: I know you were busy with life  Well I really screwed up this time  Remember last week I hit Jack In The Box?... Well, yesterday I had plans for a turkey sandwich and soup at home. I was working in the garage and decided to run and get some storage shelves before lunch. As always I spent a lot of time in Home Depot looking at all the goodies before I finally decided.... I was starving...so, having had a need for a bean burrito fix from Taco Bell (which I usually make at home with their sauce) I stopped by....well....3 tacos...2 bean burritos and a KFC doublicious sandwich (which I have wanted to try for a year now, I think) later I am up to 190 this morning  New day ....new plan.... Be Good  |
Down to 189.....no fast food yesterday thank goodness!
Bacon and eggs for breakfast Turkey sandwich for lunch Leftover roast and carrots/potatoes for dinner Be Good |
Had to move my ticker back up for the first time. Darn pizza! But I am back on plan and everything will straighten back out.

I'm back and on a mission. My mission is to lose as much as I can by summer. Now that I quit my job that I had for 2 months since I could not afford to work. So it has been a rough week so far for me. on the other hand though I do not eat much when I am stressed but when I am bored that is a different story. It is easier with my son in school but I am still working on my school stuff as well. Anyway I have no clue as to my weight I will know that on the first.

Gary_ had to laugh at your Taco Bell menu. I don't think I could all that in one day. Well maybe..but man. When I go I get 1 soft taco and a gordita.....550 calories.
Cakses- Welcome back. We are still here fighting the good fight. Come fight with us. I am working hard at the gym. I do cardio one day and weight training the next, with a little cardio. Had a training session and learned some stuff. Hopefully I am on the right track. I feel like I have worked when I leave. The stairmaster is my new "friend"...NOT!! But it is very effective. Hope this is the key. |
Welcome back MRSAUGIE  How is that new baby doing? I will be getting my first GRANDdaughter around the end of next march....between yours and my son's birthday :carrot:
MINDY :o I was not aware that Taco bell food had calories...dang...I'll be more careful! :dizzy: AWESOME on the work-outs..IT WILL PAY OFF!! Well gals...1 big point for me...Angie has BUNKO tonight...I almost ordered a pizza...a large...and probably would have killed most of it...but I backed off....hunted through the freezer and found some hot dogs...not that good but better (?)..... now...if I can just have a few chips with those hot dogs..... Be Good! |
Good to "see" you again MrsAugie!

HI TEAM ~
Well I was off work most of the week, although I did get a lot of work done in my garage. My daily eating was so-so....I did get to 190 and have been there for 4 days. For the most part I am doing the/eating the things I need to do to maintain the weight I feel comfortable with... but....here is where the baloney comes in.... I still throw down those nachos for breakfast...or a few extra beers on the week-end...that extra piece of pizza....skip the salad and get the french onion soup....sourdough instead of whole wheat....chips....cheese.... no extra miles on the treadmill or walks with the mutts and wife.... I really need to step up my "enthusiasm" for this weight loss stuff.... BE GOOD |
202!!! New low weight!!!
Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving!!! |
Hi team! I'm still here. I've been lurking and just reading since I've been so short on time. Been rushing to get a lot of important projects done and turned in to my professors before Thanksgiving Day. It's been a battle staying on plan food wise already. I'm maintaining at 217. Sunday was my dad's side of thanksgiving since we always celebrate the Sunday before the holiday so everyone can go see their other sides. It was a very difficult day. My uncle said the blessing before we ate and was thanking the Lord for everyone that was able to be there and then started to say "we pray for those who aren't here and able to be with us anymore" and he just started crying. I'm not sure if he was thinking of my dad not being there or if this year that he was thinking of BOTH of my parents now being gone despite my parents being divorced. It set off half the family crying and everyone else was able to get back in control but not me.. I cried on and off the whole time I was there for the rest of the day. I'm hoping tomorrow won't be as difficult since I won't be dealing with my own family but we will see. I am doing thanksgiving at my house tomorrow for the first time for my in laws. Anyways HAVE A HAPPY TURKEY DAY EVERYONE!
