Well good morning! I am pleased to report that I am back down to 216 for a total of 1.8 pounds lost since yesterday. I'm also pretty sore today in places that I forgot I had muscles in from Zumba last night. There is another dance class tonight I'll be going to. Hopefully I've found what works for me and I'll keep just mixing the work outs up. Have a great day team!

Well, doc appointment was fine, nothing is wrong with me (yay) so that's good. My weight was 213 though which is my highest EVER. But guess what? I'm doing a 5K! I sign up tomorrow! And hopefully I'll get far enough with my schoolwork this week that once TOM ends, I'll be able to go to the gym. :) I hope everyone is having a good weekend! |

Well I am bouncing back and forth between 188-91. At least I am hitting the 80's a lot more than the 90's! I will be working closer to home some for a few weeks so I may be able to get more walks in after work. We took the dogs out for 4 miles yesterday on a morning Starbucks trip, first one I have done since Labor Day morning :( Just don't feel like it after getting up at 3am and driving 220 miles on top of 8 hours of drywall work....must be getting old ;) I am hoping to be down in the morning, I have taken it a lot of high sodium foods the last few days....bacon/ham/pizza and of course cheese! Well.. I've been pretty sore since the Zumba class. Now I'm thinking I may have to go see a doctor. My stomach is still very sore and it just doesn't feel right and is actually kind of puffy and I can't bend down or straighten up with ease or sit down or get back up easily either. So I'm wondering if I somehow injured my stomach muscles by pulling them or straining them. I talked to two friends of mine one who used to be a football trainer and one who used to be a paramedic and they both assured me that it is possible to do just that and the class I took was definitely strenous enough for me to do that especially since my core is probably weak. I recall two women actually leaving the class and not being able to finish it so it was very intense. Hopefully I can get in to see my doctor tomorrow and rule out hernia or appendicitis and I'm just praying I have hurt myself somehow and will need time to heal. I've had to stay home to take it easy and not go to my sister in law's baby shower and she really was wanting me to come. The shower was almost a 3 hour drive one way and I just can't sit that long in a car right now. I just hate disappointing her. Have a great day!

That doesn't sound normal at all! I hope it's just soreness and nothing serious! Let us know what happens!

Well I just got home from the doctor and it is 50/50 that I have either hurt myself pretty badly in the Ab area or I do in fact have a hernia. He assured me that if it is a hernia then I in fact have one of the best kinds to get and with very little recovery time after surgery. He sent me home with strict orders to take it easy and to try a heating pad. If I still feel the same tomorrow morning he is sending me to a surgeon. I'm trying to not freak out since I'm unemployed and have no health insurance either now. Anyways that is my update. Bye for now.

Okay...Oh my goodness. Where has the time gone. I have been so busy with school starting and dealing with home issues. Can't believe it's been this long. Well, I am still holding around 175, still working out almost everyday and working. Trying to get into a routine that works right now. Haven't found it yet. My ex will not be going to NC, but he did get his old job back today. He will be getting more $$ than unemployment. That's good!!
I really need to move forward in my life and I feel stuck...in so many ways. Hold on gang ..it could get bumpy. I am going to try to be more consistent with posting, gonna gt back to a good schedule and hoepfully some new beginings are coming my way. We shall see. |

I'm cautiously hopeful right now that it is a pulled muscle since I am a bit better today and have a bit more range of mobility. But gosh this has been painful and nerve wracking! After I finish this post I will be paying some bills then going back to bed and applying more heat to my abdomen. Being in bed so much just for one day is already driving me crazy but it's gotta be done. I've already cancelled all my plans I had for this week and this coming weekend. My hubby was so good and cooked dinner and fixed my plate for me and brought it to me in bed and cleaned the kitchen too. Whatever I needed he brought to me last night. He's been pretty worried too I think. I will not be working out though for awhile so I can heal and honestly I'm scared to now! To compenstate I am trying to think and see how I can modify my eating and go to 1200 calories alone. I've done it before and lost weight that way very slowly. But it's better than nothing. I'm weighing in at 216 today. So I am doing good so far on food/calories and no exercise. I'm better than what I was physically but progress is slow. Still keeping my fingers crossed that it's a strained muscle. I did find and qualify for some affordable private health insurance through my new university so I now do have insurance yay. So that is a big load off my mind. I'm going to give myself another week or so to try to heal and go from there.

Well I hit 188.8 again today...much better than the 191 over the week-end! I should lose another on Friday...prepping tomorrow with NO FOOD for my colonoscopy on Friday.... always a pleasure!...NOT!! Proud of you BRAT!....but beer today ....zero tomorrow with the prep....dang! Be good |

Did BL DVD tonight..good for the butt. 176.6 today..looking for it to go down after TOM. Life is just full of twists and turns these days. I want a better life!!! |
