Default Huge Change In Plans.

Ok, i have been mia since i got back from my vacation and started the new semester. My 4th semester. OB's and Ped's.

Well apparently, God thought it was fit for me to have a little BIT MORE hands on experience with the OB PART.

I won't be getting into my shorts this year. Not the way i want them to fit.

I felt wierd after ovulation...and took a test at 6 days after. I got a faint little pink line. Since that day, the line got darker...and I am now 4 weeks 1 day pregnant.

I'm so scared of gaining weight. but i really want very greasy food. I am limiting the amount of food i eat, because i have very little appetite except for greasy fattening foods.

Plus, i think there might be two in there. How much weight can I NOT gain and everyone be healthy.

Scary and Exciting...Disappointing on the weight loss front! But i think I can gain controlled and not worry. I don't know though.

My last pregnancy was 13 years ago. I was still out of shape from that one.

Just to give you all an update.

Wow! How cool is that?! It's not the time to diet, exactly, but I found pregnancy to be calorie burning for me. My problems didn't happen while pregnant, but after.

Why do you think two? Just curious.

because of my family history. My mom's side runs with fraternal twins. But usually i only ovulate from one side. This time my body felt like it was going to O, did everything it normally does, then stopped, then geared up again. When it finally did, I felt the ovulation pain on both sides.

Then I got a sharp pain in my LEFT side of my uterus on 5-6 days past ovulation. I got a very faint, needed to be tweaked pink line on 6 days past o. Then I got ANOTHER PAIN sharp and concentrated on my RIGHT side 7-8 days after ovulation.

I got pretty dark cheap tests on 9 days past ovulation after that.

I just felt it. I don't know i could be wrong.

I don't know if you have PCOS, but I do, and I feel it too. I know exactly what you are talking about.

Congratulations!

Congrats! A positive 6 days after, that's pretty quick, like barely after implantation; I can see why you're thinking there's two! I really wouldn't worry too much about the weight as long as you're eating healthy and not completely sedentary (well, unless you end up on bedrest for some reason). All women put on a little weight that hangs around after baby that they have to lose, but the majority of it will be from the baby, fluid, placenta etc. So long as you don't use the pregnancy as an excuse to eat everything in sight, you'll be just fine!

Congratulations to you!

And I started my pregnancy overweight, so I actually lost body weight while I was preggo. I lost a few pounds the first trimester, the didn't really gain anything in the second. Then, I gained about 14 pounds in the last trimester. But, I weighed less when I left the hospital than I did before I got preggo.

I wasn't too sick, either. My body just adjusted for my being overweight to start, I think.
