Default Can I please have a pat on the back? Or a hug?

Hi everyone. I'm feeling a bit down today. I'm on week 3 and I've lost 8lbs. I was doing soooo good. Until this last weekend. I cheated both days. I didn't go too crazy, but I did eat somethings I shouldn't have, didn't drink enough water and I didn't exercise. Saturday was my exercise day off so Sunday was the bad day.

This morning I felt like poopie and had no energy. Top it off with fight with the hubby.

BUT......I ate a good breakfast and I have already done card. And it's only 9:30!

So i just wanted someone to say good job because I don't really have anyone now telling me i'm doing okay. (except for my 3 yr old....which is wonderful!)

Sorry for being Debbie downer today!!

~Amanda

You're doing great!! 8lbs is brilliant and don't worry about having one cheat day isn't the end of the world and you're already doing great fixing up any damage you did so don't worry about it!

Big hugs for you lovely!

You are doing great. We all have rough patches. What matters is that you get back on track and learn from the experience.

you are doing wonderful, because you could have felt so down that those last two days weren't the best and you couldn't just gave up on your diet and healthier lifestyles but you didn't.

your doing wonderful. Everyone has their rough moments in their diets and its about getting back on the wagon and keep on moving!

This is a long journey...there will be days and such that these things happen. I basically had a whole MONTH where I wasn't doing what I should have been doing...but when I was ready to jump in again and do things "right" changes happened again. I know you will learn from this. You mention a little one...something I realized as a mom with a little one...that we do what we can. Maybe we should be going to the gym or fixing the healthy meal...but in REALITY...we can't always do everything exactly perfectly on plan every day. I just realized that the other day...and really it boils down to making more good choices than bad and working with what you have in the moment. Not the could've should've would've things. It's about the next choice you make. So...keep up the GREAT work! Enjoy your journey and here's to your next good choice!

You are a champion at this.....you have something in common with everyone here who is on maintenance (and those who will be)....you had a bump in the road, but you got right back on track. Well done!

GOOD JOB!

I posted the "Junk Food Hangover" post. I ate horrendously last night and am paying for it today. But one thing I have learned is that it is more about being able to get RIGHT back no track than it is about your screw ups. And you have gotten right back no track - that is awesome.

Great job, AmandaMoon, you deserve a hug, a pat on the back, and a rousing cheer!
