I'm going to join in too. I haven't tried to lose weight in about 6 years until today!

My first goal is to regain control of beverages. A normal day for me has contained around 50 ounces of soda, cool aid or sweet tea. I am no good at cold turkey so moderation of sugary beverages is my goal for the week.

Today I had water, unsweetened iced tea and one cup of hot tea with sugar.

Yay Saturday, even though I've been at work for most of the day!

Foods today:

Breakfast:
Fried egg and sausage sandwich. I shouldn't have, but one of the managers was ordering breakfast for everyone and I thought 'sod it', lol.

Snack:
Peppermint tea - helped with the digestion of breakfast!

Lunch:
Gluten free BLT sandwich.

...and various items of chocolatey goodness throughout the day. But they don't count because they're consumed for the fact they keep you sane at work, right?

Dinner:
Will be steak, onions and mushrooms. MMMM can't wait.

Wysteria, I like the way you think about chocolate.

Brandilou, cute avatar. Welcome, nice to have you join us.

Paradise, I think that's what frusterates me the most about CC'ing. Trying to look up the cals and finding nothing, finding too much, or, my personal favorite, x amount of cals per 'serving' but no information as to what a serving is.

HI everyone!
I didnt get a chance to stop in yesterday do here is my meals
B:turkeybacon bowl(240) and sandwich tin (100)
L: chicken ranch salad (350)
S: whole orange (60)
D: Red Robin royal burger and half the fries (687)
Total:1437
I posted a thread in a different section about unsweet tea being included or not as water intake and the response I got was it is. There is a myth about caffeines dehydrating effect that I researched to be not real so I realized that I infact drink about 64oz of water every day like I should be.

Going out of ton this afternoon for the day so Im about to geat a huge (healthy) breakfast to help me for the day!
Wysteria I like the way you think!! and I love your dinner plans!!
brandilou2 WELCOME!! and good luck on your journey!

I was on SB yes, but it did not work for me, I found it to be incompatible with a weightlifting lifestyle (ie. at least one hour per day lifting). I hired a bodybuilding nutrition prep coach and she designed a personal calorie/macro plan for me which feels much better
