I casually remarked to him that I'd started exercising, and he seemed really interested. I've been obese for the most part of my life, and my dad, ex-military, well, you can imagine. We've never really been that close. But he seemed genuinely interested in looking up exercises for me and stuff. It felt really good.

That's so great! My dad and my sister have always been really close through activity, so part of my weight loss goals have also been to try and bond with him through running, hockey, or any of the other million things he enjoys. I'm glad to see that someone else knows what I mean!
