Every day, but on Sundays I usually do some kind of non-strenuous exercise, like an hour of brisk walking or a fairly leisurely bike ride. Three days a week I do strength-training, three days I commute to work on my bike (so there are two exercise sessions on those days). I'm at day 70+ of exercising every day, and I'm very pleased with my ongoing commitment; like many others, I'm truly a couch potato at heart, but the benefits to my energy on a daily basis and my weight-loss and health/fitness in the long-term are just too good to pass up. And I have adventurous and sporty goals that I can't reach without getting fit.

Recently I changed my workout from 6 days on 1 day off to 3 days on 1 day off. I realized my body needed more of a break and it seems like I am losing weight more quickly this way. I alternate between walking, elliptical, water aerobics, swiming and weight lifting.

Every day, which makes me a pain in the butt if I am traveling (I'll demand a hotel with an exercise room) and it also means you may not want me as a house guest & you will be glad I'm at a hotel.

I try to do SOMETHING every day. Yesterday was my w2d1 of C25K and tonight I'll do my p90x or 30 day shred. And most likely a bike ride when the hubby gets home, as long as its not storming still.

This week has been and will be:

Sunday: walk w/ 200 cal burned
Monday: w2d1 C25K and abs dvd of p90x
Tuesday: p90x or 30 day shred
Wednesday: w2d2 of C25K and yoga dvd of p90x
Thursday: 5 mile walk after work and bike ride w/hubby
Friday: w2d3 of C25K and abs dvd of p90x
Saturday: 2 mile walk/jog combo (that's what I'll do if I'm bored and don't know what else to do, but I will do something!)

I'm REALLY excited to meet my goals!

I usually go to the gym 5 nights a week, 2 or 3 days weight training and 2 or 3 days cardio - just depends how I feel. I usually change my routine every 6-8 weeks. Also I run at the weekends about 4 miles usually in the morning on saturday and sunday. I have a few blisters at the moment so I'm going to be in the gym rather than running which is annoying because I was just getting used to it D:

Like others have said though sometimes my body needs a break so sometimes I do have a day or two off if I feel tired or achy.

I exercise 6 days a week for at least 60mins a day. Sunday is my rest day. I'm using the p90x program.

6 days a week (sometimes 7), twice a day. Usually an hour or two in the morning and then another hour or two at night.

I don't have a set routine once I'm there - usually elliptical, stair climber, recumbent bike or treadmill (although usually its not a lot of treadmill because I have back problems, I avoid anything high impact). I will do those for as long as I can, rotating through things. Like, today, I did 17 miles on the bike and 1.5hrs on the stair climber, so tomorrow morning, I will probably go for the elliptical and then more biking, but with less resistance. At least 3 or 4 days a week, I weight train for about 30 minutes and everyday I do sit ups, push ups, lunges, wall sits and stretches at home.

I don't have any kids or real responsibilities outside of work, so I try to spend my spare time pushing towards my goal weight. It is a lot, and not a lot of people have the time to dedicate towards working out as much as I do - so thats something I'm very grateful for. I'm hoping that when my weight gets down, I will be able to start to taper back on the gym and trade it for the fun things that I want to do now, but don't do because of my weight. (Swimming, hiking, etc...)

It's all about finding a balance that works well for you and that your body likes. Hot soaks in the bathtub are a life saver!

I workout six days a week, with Sundays off. I walk 3 miles on workout days. I ordered a Pilates DVD this week and am waiting for it to arrive. I will do Pilates three days a week. I also ordered a bellydance DVD (thank God no one will see me do that one!) and am signed up for a modern dance class that begins in the fall.

I don't count the days I workout in every week anymore, I just make sure that working out is always on my list of things to do for the day. Obviously, there will be days where I won't exercise but I just make sure staying active is always apart of my lifestyle.
