SoTypical, My mom's non 'diet' chili recipe come out to only a little more than what you have posted so it seems right to me. Do you use beef or turkey?

Penguin - I used lean ground beef, lots of tomatoes, onions, beans, mushrooms and corn. It just seemed so low, 150ish for 1 cup. The store brand stuff is like 220+ - they must fill it with oil or something.

SoTypical, I tried making turkey chili but it just wasn't the same. This is Mom's recipe, LOL, not to be tampered with. The corn sounds like an interesting additon. I wonder what Hubby would say. "Honey, why is there corn in the chili??? Isn't that supposed to be in the cornbread???". He doesn't like it when I change things up on him.

Penguin - I love corn! I think it goes great in chili. We are not big bean fans in my house - so it makes it easy to cut down on those by adding corn. I like turkey chili too, but its just better with the beef lol.

I need to be more social!!

Hi Everybody!
Question- Do people get mad if I don't interact? I seem to come to 3FC in the evening... when I'm getting sleepy... and then don't take the time I should in cheering on others, sorry. I need to work on that.
