thanks for this post. I've had a rough week last week, so this is coming at a perfect time.

my hair - it's very shiny and soft

my skin / complexion - I usually am told I don't look my age. I'm going to go put on my face cream now!. God bless Granny for my good genes.

my feet - even though they are a normal size, I think they are cute. Who knows, maybe my large cankles make them look littler?????

1. Completely unoriginal. (I'll accept that.) My eyes. Light blue-green. But the poor things don't like really strong sunlight, so no one's going to see them outside in public for the next three months or so, not till after sunset. [ETA: I don't mean I'm not leaving the house, I mean I'll have really big sunglasses on my face.]

2. Neck & shoulders. What would be decolletage in a Victorian ballgown. I'd make a great wooden figurehead for a whaling ship.

3. My calves are still big, but they have developed all kinds of grooves along the sides & a cleft in the back. I'm happier with them than I've been in years. (Did I ever tell the story about when I was 13 & ate pizza & potato chips for dinner on the night before a horse show, and then, the next morning, could not get my dressy riding boots up over my calves? I sat on the edge of the tub running cold water over my legs & applying ice, hoping that would shrink them. I hadn't worn the boots to a show in months & had apparently gained a little weight, in addition to the sodium-induced swelling. Oh, what a horrible memory ... My calves, I forgive you. Finally. It's taken decades, though.)

I'm all about the self-love lately (after so many years of not...this feels good!) so I love:

1. My feet...simply put, they are adorable <grin>
2. My curves...they don't stop!
3. My lips...they're full and have a nice natural color

My belly button. It's an innie, and it has that slight hood over it, and it looks good with jewelry.
