I think the important thing is, if you eat something you consider to be "bad" or a cheat, don;t let it ruin the rest of your day, or week. Accept it, and then stay OP for the rest of the day.
Just because one tire on your car punctures, doesn't mean you have to go and puncture the other three as well, kwim?
However the above is advice I am very good at giving but not taking. It's too easy to think "Oh sod it, I've ruined my day, may as well enjoy it!"
Yesterday afternoon I was a bit down as I had argued with my OH so I pigged out on cookies. But then I wasn't hungry for my tea, so I had no evening meal. And this morning I was down 1.2 so I got away with it - lol!
