Go joannie! That's amazing!

I've lost 46lbs. total or an elementary-school aged kid.

That's so cool!

That's also weird because I saw something similar to this thread the other day. Must have been on another site. Anyway, I have lost about 60 lbs. over the past year and found a whole blog entry online where a woman had photos of things that weighed 60 lbs because she had lost the same amount. So, I've lost the same amount as a panda I think (along with some other things I don't remember at the moment). I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the link, but I found it interesting. They actually had a picture of a 60 pound hamburger on the site!

That's exactly what I was going to say! I can't lift my child anymore because of my back but I have lost his weight. I can't imagine that I used to carry that much around with me.

Great thread idea

I've lost Leo's larger brother...18lbs. I always talk about how difficult it is to carry around 2 large bags of dog food, which is similar to what I need to lose. I saw Valerie Bertinelli on a commercial the other day with 4 10-lb. sacks of potatoes tied to her. And when we were biking the other day, Robert said to imagine that I was losing potatoes along the way. More like a kibble at a time, but even those tiny pieces of dog food sure add up!
