Default Successful Weekend!

This weekend marks the first weekend that I lived through with NO INCREASE on the scale monday morning! I'm a little embarrassed to admit that this is only the FIRST weekend but I'm also proud too!

I think my new "eating out for only ONE meal each weekend" rule is definitely going to be the key. Actually I didn't eat out at all this weekend but I was kind of a hermit this weekend (which is very unusual) because I was so exhausted from last week that I didn't really go out at all. AND, gues what? I turned down dinner on Sunday night at one of my favorite Spanish/Portuguese restaurants because I just wanted so badly to see good numbers on the scale this week. What? You mean I might have taken that "nothing tastes as good as thin feels" motto to heart? This just boggles my mind! lol

Next thing you know you will be making healthier versions of your favorite Spanish/Portuguese food at home.

In all seriousness, controlling eating out is a huge step in weight loss and one of the hardest to control, because we like to be social. Well done.

GOOD FOR YOU Bombe! you SHOULD be proud because being successful through a weekend IS something to be proud about. keep it up...you can do it...that scale is getting closer to zero every day! :-)

p.s. i just now had my own little mini celebration. someone brought FRESH bagels and cream cheese into work this morning...they are literally about 10 feet away from me and i'm NOT going to do it!! i stepped away from the bagels! i WILL look good in that bikini when i go to jamaica in september!!
