Default My mini - goals

I'm trying a new approach this year; I'm looking at this journey as semesters in school because I could always figure out how to do something for short time frames and get it done when I had to. So, my first mini-goal is 207.5 by 3/15/10. Even if I get all B's in my "classes", it's better than the F's I'm getting now. Here we go!

Mini goals really help me. It was scary for me to think "I have 43lbs to lose"...it's much easier to think "if I can lose 15lbs once, I can do it three times."

Good luck with your goals!

I never did mini-goals but wish I had, they're pretty cool.

Personally I like the ones that are more personal and interesting vs. just a #, like mkendrick' sin the previous post.

Default Oy Vey!

What was I thinking - 7.5 lbs in a month? I've only been "trying" for 3 days and I'm dying here. OK> I have to stay positive and keep the eye on the goal. It's like studying for a test or doing a school project - I have to work on it a little everyday because I can't afford to cram in the end (like I used to in school). Thanks for the replies and positive thoughts - keep sending the positive vibes my way. I'll need them.

7.5lbs in a month is totally doable! That's less than 2lbs/week. Just keep focused. It's like studying for an exam... you're much more likely to ace the test if you study a little bit every day for a month!
