1) What pant size did you start out at?
2) What pant size are you currently?
3) Do you have a goal pant size? If so, what is it?
As I'm getting closer to my weight goal, I'm realizing the weight number doesn't interest me so much as being the *size* that I want. My goal is to comfortably fit into a size 6. I'm currently a slightly tight but comfortable size 8. I'm happy with this, I've never been this small before, but I think when I get to 140-145, I should hopefully be in 6's. If not, I might adjust my goal a bit to get there!
I know, I know, every company has different sizes. Even pant sizes from the same store can fit differently. And vanity sizing and such. I realize all this...but for the most part, I think we know what size we are on average, right?
So here are my answers to my own survey:
1) I started out barely fitting into a 12/13 pair of jeans...major muffin top.
2) Currently an 8.
3) I want to be a size 6.
Pant size is more important to me than weight, as well. I started at a 12 or 14 and am now at a 4 or 6... so I'm maintaining and trying to get rid of the muffin top I still have!
I began as a tight size 22
I am now a getting loose size 12
I plan to be no larger than 8, but no smaller than 6. (that means I will have to see if I like 8 when I get there).
I began in a size 18.
I am currently in a 2.
I am okay with this but if smaller is in the cards, I would love it. And lets face it, a size 2 is NOT what it used to be!
I haven't been in "regular" sizes for years...but yes, it does seem they have changed! I remember being around 135-140 in high school and wearing a size 10 or so. Now 145 is an 8? Woo-hoo! When I get to my goal weight, I'll be a good 2 sizes smaller than I've ever been
I began as a very tight 16, so more like 18.
I am currently a size 8.
I'd like to get down to a 4/6 when I get to goal, but if not, no big deal since I have a pretty large frame.
I started a 16 and.. am still a 16. :X Unfortunately I haven't noticed any change in pant size yet, as I am losing from other areas (upper waist, arms, and back) and not so much where my pants lay.
I remember being a size 13 when I was around 180, and I was a size 11 probably between 170-160. I am looking to be a size 8-6 when I get down to my goal weight. But anything sounds good to me as long as there is very little fat left. I know I have these huge child-bearing hips, so I don't expect to ever get any lower than a 6.
I started in a VERY tight 24(so more like a 26)
I am currently a size 14
I hope to get down to a size 8 at least.
I have to say, I know I'm a petite person, I'm short and have overall small features, but still getting down to size 2/4 sounds just completely impossible to me, I'm not sure why but even after a year of losing weight I have hard time envisioning myself ever getting THAT small.
I also started in a tight size 24/really a size 26.
I've only been losing for a few weeks, so I'm only about 14 pounds down, but I'm now a "true" size 24, so yay for that! =)
I plan on losing down to a size 10/12.
Currently in size 10s (I have one pair of size 8s but I think they're incorrectly sized - they are from Old Navy afterall).
I never really had a goal size other than being in size 12s. I can't imagine being smaller than 10/8. I'd feel like a skeleton (but that's me and my frame).
I started as a 26, now a 24. I don't have a specific goal, but I don't think anything smaller than a 12 would be realistic for me. I'm guessing probably a 16. If I come up smaller when I am at the weight where my body wants to be, it will surprise me.

The smallest size I can remember being is a 9. Right now I'm 12ish.
After researching other people my height at who are my ideal weight, I found that their pant size was pretty consistent: 2/0. Which is crazy, I know!! But hey, why not? So I guess my goal size is 2, but I'd be happy with 4, and maybe even with 6.
I know I have these huge child-bearing hips, so I don't expect to ever get any lower than a 6.
amen!
1) Started out in a size 14.
2) Currently in a size 10 (curvy fit from Express, but they're the only kind that don't gap in the waist so I'll take it!)
3) Really hoping for a size 6 when I get to goal, but will be happy with an 8 as long as I'm toned up.
