bronzeager, I'm a 32 DDD and I get very sturdy bras at Nordstroms. Yes, they are pricey but I have seen my size (and yours!) on the sale rack. Some of the sale bras are as low as $30. These are very pretty bras, too, if you like that as much as I do. :-)

Yes Cali Doll, I was in the U.S. over the holidays and that's where I got them -- Wacoal at Macy's and Nordstrom. Of course none of the styles that were on the CLEARANCE RACK just then fit me, that was just to lure me in. I ended up spending a lot, but they do look nice.

Larger ladies here swear by Marks and Spencer, and they do carry an amazing range in their store brand. But somehow the cups are just not the right shape. Maybe Englishwomen are pointier, ha ha.

There is a British store called Bravissimo that also sells on line, and my dream is to visit there and find which of their styles fit, and then I can just order any time I want. Where I am now, mailing returns and exchanges would be a big pain.

Oh the eternal pants dilemma...
Start: 18/18W
Now: A slightly looser 18/18W
Goal: This is tough. Like most people, I would love to be a single digit size. But the fact of the matter is that A: I have a lot of very, very cute size 12 clothes that I would love to be in again and B: I just cannot envision myself in single digit clothing. Even at 150ish I was still a tighter size 12 (of course this was 8+ years ago, so sizes may have changed). The thought of being in something like a 4 is just... beyond my imagination's abilities.

1) What pant size did you start out at? Dec of 2001 was when I hit my heaviest - I probably weiged about 250 and I should have been wearing a size 18 (but I just kept squeezing into my stretched out 16 jeans)
2) What pant size are you currently? I now fit comfortably in 16's
3) Do you have a goal pant size? If so, what is it? Ideally, I would like to be a 12. I don't think 10 is all that realistic for me, but if I got down to that, awesome. And honestly, if I was a fantastically in-shape 14, I think I would be ok with that.

started in size 22
now in size 12-14
goal size 12 in all styles, maybe 10 in some.

way back in the dark ages I was about 140 and wore a 12. I dieted down to 127 before I got married and was so excited to fit into a pair of 10's. I probably wasn't able to wear them more than 3 times though!!

Neat thread!
I am really bad with thinking about sizes. I was at 24 and when I first lost weight I got down to an 18! But now I am back up to like 22/24

I am hoping to get down to like a 12 and I will be super happy. But I secretly would kill to be an 8. I remember wearing an 8 and just being so happy about it lol.

I've never been able to label myself as a single pant size. Same deal with shoes. In some pants an 8 is baggy, in others I can't squeeze myself into a 12. I guess that's why I've never paid attention to clothing sizes; I've always focused much more on the scale.

1) I started as a 20 in jeans, a 22 in other types of bottoms
2) I'm currently between an 18 and a 16. My 18s are too big, my 16s have major muffin tops
3) I'd like to be down to a size 10, but I'm not that picky.

ducky, you're an inch taller than me, and I was definitely a 10 at 160lbs (your goal weight). I know everyone is built differently, but I'd say that was a realistic goal

1) 24
2) 22. It feels good to not be a 24 for once. It's not a huge difference but it makes me happy =].
3) Not sure, actually. I'd like to see how I feel in each size, if that makse sense. Which it may not lol.

I'm starting at 18. I know that I have a lot of muscles from sports when I was younger and I want to keep those muscles, so I know that single-digit sizes is probably out of the question. My goal size is 12, but I'll be elated at 14. I can't even remember the last time I wore either of those sizes. I was wearing 16s when I was weighing in at around 185.

start size 16 (tight)
currently size 16 fits good (only been dieting 3 weeks)
goal: to get back in all the size 4s hanging in my closet taunting me everyday!

1) What pant size did you start out at?
I started out at a size 10.

2) What pant size are you currently?
I still wear a size 10! haha.

3) Do you have a goal pant size? If so, what is it?
I do not have a goal pants size, I just have a goal weight 125. That is because I am pretty curvy and I have a big behind! LOL So I know that I have lost weight, but the pants still fit because of my wide hips. Me and you are almost exactly the same weight, but I wear a bigger size pants because of my hips!

Start: size26 (tight)
Now: size 24 (tight in jeans but fit in slacks)
Goal: I know I was a 14 when I could ave lost weight, so a 12 would be nice and would have been a size I worn in HS. I was 5"11 when I wore 14's...grew still into my early 20's to 6'1"...so we shall see!
