So, I just assumed that I was 170 lbs - based on my most recent endocrinologist's appointment statistics from Nov, 2009. I have been more controlled in what I eat - except for a one-time binge a couple of days ago when DH worked late and both kids were out of control. So, I ***-umed that I'd still be the same. Well, guess what? I don't. I am actually 175 lbs! I haven't been this heavy since immediately after giving birth to DD a few years ago.
This is such a rude awakening. I immediately took before pictures yesterday because I promised myself that by the time DS first birthday rolls around in a about 5 months' time, I am going to weigh AT LEAST 150 lbs. I also watched a lot of Biggest Loser episodes at HULU to get motivated and am off to the gym for an hour on the treadmill at least, gradually adding more demanding work-outs (including elliptical and stair-master). I am already a pre-diabetic and can't be stupid anymore.
Please wish me well and please tell me that I can do this.
