This is why I rarely eat out. I just can't enjoy the experience knowing that I can do SO much better at home - on quality, taste and flavor and for sure volume and calories - and that's not even taking into consideration the prices.

That Whiskey Chicken just blows me away. How? Just how do they pack that many calories in there? I don't want to know the answer.

Yes, but you don't have the same environment at Subway. As someone who grades a lot of papers out in public, I have to say Panera is much more conducive to grading! Sometimes eating out is about more than the food. Music piped in... comfortable chairs or booths. And then the food... free coffee refills, for one... Plus I love their soup. So, for me Panera wins hands down.

I used to like Panera a lot and there definitely are sandwiches there that taste good modified. Subway bread sucks but Panera has nice bread. My problem with Panera is they can't seem to get a 'veggie sandwich no cheese' order right.
