Yes, I know exactly what you mean. A couple years ago when I got down to the lowest weight I've been in a long time 155 pounds, I thought I looked great, I bought clothes that fit me and I was in a size 10 easily-you know, not squeezed in like a sausage.

My sister took some pictures of me in my swim suit and shorts and I looked like a little sausage all squeezed into my clothes. Even though I had lost a bunch of weight I still looked like I was fat. I think that was the beginning of my great re-gain. I mean, if after all this work of watching everything that went into my mouth and making sure I had an hour of exercise almost daily, losing 45 pounds and I'm still basically the same shape-short and plump! I was really disgusted with myself and sort of gave up on my weight loss endevors. Don't do what I did! I regained most of it and now I'm starting over again. It's not worth it, even if the pictures are horrible and we can't really tell the difference in our minds eye. It doesn't matter because with the weight loss our bodies are healthier and we feel better even if we avoid taking pictures for the rest of our lives. !
