Some of my classic excuses (which many of you have used too) are....
For not exercising:
* I'm really exhausted & need to sleep for that extra hour before getting up for work
* I'll do it tomorrow/after work/on Saturday, etc.
* Oops. I don't have time (because I spent it all on the internet or watching something on TV)
* I don't look too bad. I'm older, and it's okay not to look hot/attractive and let myself go a bit. I'll never look how I really want, so why try?
For eating junk:
* I've lost all this weight, so one little donut/cheeseburger/cookie/whatever won't hurt me. Well, I had one, so two is okay. I had two, so there goes my whole day! Might as well eat whatever I want all day!
* Didn't have time to pack my lunch for work
* It's a pain to pack my lunch. So much easier to just order out like everyone else, and go along with things.
* I just want to fit in. Being a picky eater, bringing my lunch, or choosing healthy things makes me stand out.
* I'll work out harder & cut back tomorrow to make up for it
* I deserve it/It tastes good!
