Default Today is going to be a challenge!

I can tell already!

It all started with waking up a couple of times in the night feeling absolutely RAVENOUS (my calories were right on yesterday, neither high nor low). At 5:15, I finally got up and had a banana & an orange before heading to yoga (I usually don't eat until after). After yoga, I had my planned breakfast, which was a big pan of stir-fried veggies with eggs, & I had to add a piece of toast w/ jam to that b/c I was still so hungry. Now, it is 9:45 a.m. & I've just sat down to eat the stir-fry that was SUPPOSED to be my lunch!

This is real, honest stomach hunger, not just boredom hunger...

What can I say? Not sure how I am going to stay within my calorie limits for today, not at the rate I am going!

I am a firm believer that if you are truly hungry, you should eat. Your body knows what's best for it. Just try to eat the most nutritionally dense foods you can (lots of fruits and veggies to fill you up) and just do the best you can.

I like the Rules of Paul McKenna-
When you are hungry, eat. When you are satisfied, stop eating.

As long as you are sure it's not boredom hunger... the body knows best. IMO, anyways.

Yesterday was exactly like that for me. Even after my big plate of lunch that usually stuffs me, I was still hungry. So I just kept eating, whatever I wanted, but they were all healthy things. In the end I went about 13 points over my daily range but apparently my body wanted all that food cause the scale didn't show a gain! I'd say if you're really hungry, and as long as you're making good choices, go for it.
