Default screwed up all week

well like the title says ... I have been getting kicked off track all week. Had to do some traveling and I got lazy. I am getting over getting mad at myself.

Had a lot of well meaning friends who wanted to treat me out plus family PLUS the places we played at (I play in a regional band) supplied us food.

For some reason I find it very difficult to turn down FREE food! LOL!

But I am back on track this monday and I am going to hit it hard this week in the gym!

But next Sunday (our next gig) is gonna be a test for me. We are playing a huge private party and it is a pig roast with all the other stuff that goes with it (all bad!)

I am going to stuff myself with veggies before I go so i won't be tempted to eat there. I am sure i will eat something though I doubt I can resist a hot pan of cornbread! LOL!

I even missed writing in my food log for a few days and I have over a hundred days in it without missing aday. Boy did I really slack off.

Oh well nothing to do but get back on track and redouble my efforts!

I hope everyone did better than I did last week! SHEESH!

Ehhh I didn't do so well either. Too many carbs, not really feeling like exercising. But I too am on track today. I'll be staying away from the scale till Easter Sunday. I want to focus on the healthy eating and exercising rather than have the scale get me down.

I think that the answer to this weightloss/maintain thing is that we ARE going to go off plan once in a while, a dinner out with a SO, friends, family, holiday etcs. But recovery of getting back on track the next day and making the best choices we can during those times is going to make this a lifestyle.

Take it one meal and snack at a time.

You never fail if you get back on track. Life will always run you off course at times, that IS life. If you were a boat at sea and realized you got off track, would you continue on that path, or realize your mistake and get back on the right path and eventually to your destination?
Don't beat yourself up. You're wonderful, and you're back on track.

I like your attitude of getting back on track this week. That's a victory all by itself! We are human, we'll have our bad moments, but if we keep trying, we'll make some progress.
