Success is never final. Failure is never fatal. Courage is what counts.
-Sir Winston Churchill

Especially, the "failure is never fatal." It does take courage. I find that courage here every day in the Goals thread, and in the MiniGoals thread. I firmly believe that a major part of my future success is here - where real people are succeeding every day.

To do list: Lose one pound. Keep it off. Repeat.

The last time you failed, did you stop trying b/c you failed, or did you fail b/c you stopped trying?

My personal pep talk that I give myself as I walk to the gym....I thought of by the way. but works for me:

Working out is no longer an option. Either do it, and eat right or die. It's 30 frickin minutes to an hour, depending on where you're at. That's it. You can spare that. And no one has probably ever died walking on a treadmill. Just do it.

And off I go to the gym.

I saw this on someone's signature here on 3FC and it has really inspired me.

4 months from now, what you will look like if you quit and what you will look like if you keep going? 4 months is going to happen no matter what, what will be your choice?

I absolutely love that Jillian quote! But then again, I pretty much love anything Jillian says, or does. haha, I just love Jillian :)

One of my favorite quotes is from Charles DuBois. My Pastor said it in church one day and I feel like this is a deep quote that you can apply to anything in your life.

"The important thing is this: To be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are for what we could become." - Charles DuBois

This is a good one and a very important question to ask oneself. I think brutal honesty is essential in this journey. Asking yourself the tough questions.

I was hoping ppl wouldn't think it was to harsh. It is one that makes you stop and think though....and most likely go " huh "
