True I can still wear semi skinny jeans and cover muffin top with a blazer or a looser top... that's "the look" anyways isn't it, looser top if you wear skinny pants, never skinny and skinny thus sayeth the fashion magazines.

Pretty Paula, you seem to be a fashion forward kind of lady and I have no doubt what your sporting looks nice.

I am mostly describing what seems to be a trend in this area for the teen girls. Not only do they wear the skinny jeans with their muffins decending downward, I have seen many that have the seam of the pant seperating their touche topped by a too small hoody pulled around them in some precarious fashion.

Yuck, THAT's what isn't cool... If they'd follow fashion magazines they'd wear skinny jeans with looser tops but true, they appear to wear them with short and very tight sweat shirts with logos on them. Very odd generation that thinks they are cool. And is cool a word to use? I miss those super skinny teenage and early 20s days. Something about little dinky bikinis and jeans we sewed up so tight... funny 80s.

And I finally found a hoodie at a sporting store by Pulp that actually went OVER the muffin top, a cute black velour suit. Now THAT hard to find actually classy hoodie even now I could wear with skinnier jeans! But I suppose without it cutting off half my tummy I wouldn't be "cool"? Better to hide the blubber then be cool!

I don't think covering up a muffin top with a top ever works, except with something really heavy or stiff maybe.

I have been wearing the same fat jeans for over three years now. Two pair that are getting pretty thread bare. If I don't get this weight off I just know I'm going to split the seat. I refuse to buy anymore fat clothes. The good news is I have clothes that should fit me my entire journey. May not be in style but hey they'll fit.
