Talking Well this is encouraging :)

Ok, so the past week has been insane.

This time last week I had a fever of 102 but was still packing up my house so that we could move over the weekend. I continued to work all week along with packing and by Friday night I was completely drained. Me and my boyfriend spent the weekend moving from New York to Wisconsin driving a 16'' moving van towing a car. I did most of the driving since the bf was due to start work on Monday and I wanted him to have the energy for it. We made it in on Sunday and unpacked the whole van. I've spent the last 3 days recovering.

Now, we didn't have any food so we spent the weekend eating mostly pizza and fast food from rest stops. The last two nights we've tried eating out and some local places mostly because the bf wanted to celebrate the move and his new job. I made him go grocery shopping yesterday and now we have some good wholesome food in the house.

What I find encouraging is that the ONLY thing that I want now is some healthy food. Events that might have triggered a month-long binge-fest in the past have only served to make me crave lean meats, fruit, and veg. This proves to me that this is in fact a lifestyle change and that I can't go back to my old ways now.

How exciting is that?!

Sid, I am with you. I actually crave healthy foods. I also crave movement. On the days I can't run I am constantly looking for things to get me moving aruond the house--Shimmy on Exercise TV or cleaning windows or whatever.

that is encouraging. I get that way also, where if I eat some bad stuff one day, my body is craving good stuff the next.

don't get to down on yourself, I still crave the bad for you foods too. for instance, I had to have pizza last night, I ate well throughout the day to allow this to happen, and then had my Home Run Inn mini pizza. After I ate it, I thought to myself, well, that wasn't worth it. *doh* Today, my body is craving an apple and a little bit of organic peanut butter, and I assume it will continue throughout the day.

That's very exciting! It truly is a lifestyle change. It's called life....sometimes we have those off plan days but the key is getting back on track.

Layla I know how it is to crave treat foods! The key for me was getting into the habit of getting back on plan. This was a habit I never had in my life until last year. It wasn't easy at first. It takes practice, and before you know it you will find getting back on track even easier than the time before. Try it out and see.

That's funny Born I had pizza last night too (also planned it in my day) at an election party and I was so dying for a banana this morning. I love that!
