Hi everyone,
JP - That's great that you dropped some weight...I've read so many times that drinking water actually makes your body release whatever excess water it is retaining...nice to know it might actually be true! Yesterday was not a good day...sorry to say that my eating was quite "disordered" :p...Sometimes I just get tired of fighting, and yesterday I just gave in to the I'm tired, I want this, and I want that....yech...oh well, today's a new day, and so far I am back on track...let's hope I stay that way... Veggie- Sorry your day didnt go so well yesterday .But todays a new day and your back on track which is great ! I hope today goes great for you ! Jp-I hope your day is going great !! My days going well . I decided to up my exercise so I did 30 min on the bike and another 30 on the bowflex and tonight I plan on doing my 2 mile WATP and another 30 on the bike .Now we'll see if the weight will drop a little faster. veggie, sorry to hear about yesterday. but as you said, today is a new day! good job with getting back on track. you're doing great! :D fld, you're an exercise machine! great job and i hope you're body/weight responds to all your exercising! :D pretty good day for me. havn't been able to exercise yet since my wednesdays are my busiest days, but i'm hoping to squeeze some in before i go to bed. been doing well with the water. i weighed myself again this morning and i did drop 2 lbs since i started drinking more water! wohoo! but i'm still going to the restroom a LOT, which is kinda annoying. but i've been eating up my fiber-filled foods and i think it's giving me gas. sorry to be so blunt! :) at least my bowels are working! have a great evening everyone! jp |
hi, me again.
just needed to vent a little. my boyfriend is frustrating me, and since he's my 30-day shred buddy, i did the workout with only half the energy and barely broke a sweat or got my heart pumping. it didn't help that i could hear him huffing and puffing beside me, which bugged me even more. so now i feel bad that i wasted a workout today, which i really needed, since i ate a snack bag of cheetos today and i felt horrible afterwards. :( but as you said veggie, tomorrow is a new day. i'll just sleep on it. sorry, just had to get that off my chest. good night, jp |

Thanks for the support yesterday. My day went fine, and I seem to be back on track. Fld- you put me to shame exercise woman! That is just great that you're getting revved up, this is the time, over the holidays to be even more active, so you're doing a great job:carrot: JP - Feel free to vent...that's why we're here; its better than eating out of frustration:(...I can understand what you are experiencing re the boyfriend...I had a similar experience with my husband when I cajoled him into joining me on one of my outdoor works in Sept...he couldn't keep up with me, and when I slowed down, I just got annoyed because I knew I wasn't walking at a fast enough pace to make it a worthwhile workout...After that, I decided to do the exercise I needed to do for me for the day, and then, if I had extra energy, to invite him to exercise and then even if I kept to his slower pace, it wouldn't matter so much to me because I had already done what I needed to do...At first I thought I was being selfish, but then I realized that I wasn't doing him any favors by "dumbing down" my workout to suit him because I'd just resent it, and probably take it out on him in some other way subconsciously...Make sense? But just think your on the right track to making your next one much better !! Well my major exercise plan for yesterday got a bit off track . My dentist called with an opening so I went and had 3 teeth pulled last night . So no night workout . But I'm feeling better ( vicadin is great) today so I'm trying again today. thanks for the support w/ my bf frustrations. it's usually fine working out w/ him but since i was frustrated in general last night about another issue, it didn't help when it was time for us to work out. but everything's better today. good eating but havn't been able to work out yet. i feel like my desire to exercise has been fading these past few days and it's bugging me cuz i know i have/need to but i don't want to... help! veggie, glad you're doing well! :) fld, 3 teeth removed! yikes! thank goodness for pain medication! just be careful as to not pass out when exercising! :) welcome, firehawk! we're all here to support you! jp |

still trying to get out of my exercise stump. eating has been going ok. not the best in food choices, but doing well with portion control. water drinking has been going pretty well too. i've just been feeling a little lazy lately, may be cuz it's my time of the month. i tend to have bad cravings at this time. doing fairly well so far. hope your days are going well :) jp |

Well my computer was being nutty yesterday but working again today . I missed this board :) . Jp-Great job on still eating right .Time of the month is a hard time .ou get back in the exercise flow again. Veggie- Hop you have'd a good couple of days. No passing out with the pills :) I'm only taking them at night now so that wont be a worry any more . They did make me kind of woozy though :) My days going pretty well I got up early and did 30 on the bike and another 20 on the bowflex . My eatings going pretty well . sorry I was awol yesterday...thanksgiving preps are starting to freak me out...i got a head start on my cleaning but I have yet to get the food in the house :yikes: Welcome firehawk! Sorry to hear about the teeth, fld, but sounds like you're on the mend...cute weight loss tracker by the way! i missed you both yesterday! lol, usually i'm the one who posts late in the day and when i was the only one, i was like, "where is everyone!" hehe, i was so confused! :D veggie, i definitely understand the thanksgiving prep, so i'm hoping my brother will be on top it! fld, glad to hear you're not passing out with the pills :) and great job with the exercising! you're gonna be my inspiration to keep my workouts! i started Level 2 of the 30-day Shred yesterday and it is soooo much harder than Level 1! so i'm definitely sore today, but it feels good! jp |

JP - glad to hear you have your momentum back re the exercise...what is different about level 2? I can't remember if anyone here mentioned using the WATP tapes...on days when I can't get to the gym, I was thinking of trying one of these, but wanted some insight into what they were like before buying... Jp- Congrats on doing stage 2 I've heard those workouts are hard ! We'll see how long this major workout lasts for me . I tend to push a little to har sometimes and then I wear myself out :) Veggie- Thanks (on the tracker ).Your fdoing great today!!I do the WATP and I really like them they definatelly give you a workout . There mainlly walking in place , some sidesteps , knee lifts , kicks and some arm movements . I started with the 1 mile and now am on the 2 and I love it . Well I've worked out this morning and now I'm off to make some breakfast :) Have a great day everyone !! fld |

veggie, level 2 of the 30-day shred has more difficult exercises than level 1. there are a few plank exercises too, which i'm horrible at! so the moves are just more rigorous, so they're harder to do or keep up with. but its good to keep the body challenged, though it can be frustrating! :) fld, hope your day is going well. wasn't able to work out yesterday and the ate pretty badly cuz my good friend had a party which was really fun, but now i feel horrible just thinking about all that i ate. i'm trying not to think about it and just get back on track and move on. so now i'm actually craving a work-out to even out my bad-eating! jp |
