Last night I tried on a pair of jeans that I wore about 4 years ago when I was in pretty good shape. They aren't a size 2 or anything unrealistic. I never had to starve in order to wear them, but let's just say my body was fairly nice back then and now it's....not so much.
As I tugged them up as far as they could go I stood in front of the bathroom mirror.

How did this happen? How did I
ever wear these? (For the record, I wore them because I worked out 6 days a week and restricted calories, but still.) I was able to get them up on my hips but the button is about 4 inches from the button hole...

And muffin top? Try bunt cake top!
I figure the only way I will wear these jeans again is if I set them on fire and roll around in the ashes.
Now, do I give them to a shelter, or is there still hope? I want to lose 30-40 pounds, and I actually was at that weight when I wore them before...but I just wonder if it's still going to be impossible...
Anyone ever slid back into a pair of jeans that were this far gone?
